- Restoration antique Russian technology ceiling fan
A ceiling fan has been produced since 1985. It has a long time of use. We have repaired and restored it. Removing dirt, old paint and bearings has worn out quite a lot. We replaced it with better new bearings. The joints have been rusted, we have reworked it. Hope you will like our new project.

WOW, I mean dats a fan made to last & defy time. Enormous stator, haven't seen one in my life. Glad u changed the bearings. Some varnish trickled over the windings wud hv prolonged their life. The color choice was a bit odd, but nice to see the old fella running again.
Everything is good .but the yellow colour is not good. Anyway good work.👍

Yellow i like
I'm not an expert when it comes to restoration of any kind and whether it's a spot on or a best of your ability, I enjoy any attempt of making the old and useless restored or repurposed to function again or become a piece of art. I noticed that a lot of folks didn't like the yellow, I feel it was a bold choice on your part. The meat of your restoration is what appeals to me not what some consider imperfect. Your video calmed me and reminded me of things I need to "dust off" and apply diligence to. I look forward to viewing more of your work and thank you for sharing your God given talent🤙👍
Each comment is an encouragement to us. We are not experts who need advice from you . Thank you very much
@@therestoration2r878 After reading my reply to you I'm trying to figure out what I said that makes you think I was giving you advice. My intent was to compliment you, not offend or question your ability. Please let me know what part you considered rude.
For too go to skool
Although you did hard work but at the end the yellow color spoiled everything...
Correct
@@khalidhashmi99 It's ugly as fuck!
@@stiane1062 Exactly... I have been in 5-6 countries... I have seen fans in white or off-white color mostly...
Knowledge Sea I would’ve gone with maybe black or off-white.
@@katthefanenthusiast5793 These are too good to be used... But at least not the Yellow one which ruined the whole aesthetic :)
From Russia with love!
Attention!
If necessary, from this fan can be collected Mig-29
The color of the paint was cherry on the cake .. !
It's amazing, i love the mimosa yellow, it's mesmerising. THANK YOU!
😮wow, those Russians used Aluminum in this old fan. Amazing
These good quality old fans are worth restoring. Paint job at the end was not up to the mark. A primer coat with wet sanding and then the original blue color would've given better result.
Shaded pole induction motor for ceiling fan, amazing!!
Gotta love them old fans. It's either all or nothing and no in between. I have several vintage fans and they all run. They also look like they'll do some real damage to you if you get near them.
I got too thei rork grate
1985 huh?....I guess I'm now an antique...
I hate getting old... :(
it looks older than that im thinking 60s or early 70s
That Fan is Built Like Tank.. Good Job..
great job.
Wow very good nice ceiling fan
Eternal and quality fan!Why now do not make so high quality! Chinese junk I bought today and thrown away tomorrow!
I guess I learned something new today! I had no ideal that Russia has a ceiling fan technology...
Phillip Matlock. Ohh they do but you aren’t allowed to use them. That vould be decadent vestern style vaist of precious Russian resources and anyvone caught using vone vill go straight to Gulag, da. 😂
Ubsession to dis gui
Respect. You are so great and talented.I never thought the old things can be resorted to the brand new one.You gave them a new life!Keep on going.
Lucky was he dat the winding was ok & the bearing seats were gud.
Just vuy ner one intead roin old wone
Next time you restore something, use the original color please.
Also, don't paint without primer..
I agree. Could have been colored primer... Still dont make up for the yellow though lol
Very good restoration bro 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Looks great.
Thank you
@@therestoration2r878 If you ever sell it, I am interested.
Masterwork....
Well done, another junk item saved from the dump.......i'm sure it'll help someone cope with the summer heat, :)
Excellent
Is there anyone else who likes birds background sound???
Where we live is in the breeding season of birds. Birds have good songs . Thank you for watching the video
@@therestoration2r878 your welcome ☺
Very good job 👏 I learned something from this video. I do restorations and video them also.
Restoration Restore Tool any time
I liked the color!
Thank you . Have a nice day
It's your biggest fan 👍
Well Done 👍
Good job. Kipidap don givap.
Before the end: Are you SUUUURE this was in 1985? Because it looks alot older than that. After the end: wow you actually fixed an ole ceiling fan! I really thought no one would care for an old ceiling fan like that
Nice job
Love how simple it's constructed, nice restoration. Hope it keeps you cool!
Haha
I like the yellow.
Thank you
Obviously not a "Harbor Breeze" or "Hampton Bay" fan from Walmart, Lowe's and Home Depot. Seems to be cast and balanced. And bearing were a great thing as well. Not a "fan" of your color choice. And I think I would have media blasted it all and then used filler materials to smooth the surfaces out. Then proper primer and very nice top coats with clear coats to finish it off. But nice project anyway.
I have a ceiling fan similar to this one installed in my bedroom moves a lot of air for a small 36 inch. Also nice job fixing it up.
Great Man You are Too Great Love you Bro
A fine mechanical restoration! That said... Why yellow of all colours???
Excelente trabajo!!!!!!!!!!!! felicitaciones
Parabéns, muito bom, ficou excelente.
Nossa ! Você Aqui!
amazing
I love the yellow. It reminds me of my Rolls Royce.
We also found yellow very suitable for the fan. Have a nice day
old is gold
I'm sure you are a patient person
We love our work. All suggestions are great encouragement for us . Thank you
After all your hard work that is a beautiful piece!
Butiful home
You are vey great at what you do and just good job 👏👏👏👏
Awesome video. Why did you blur out the Vietnamese manufacture plate?
They probably did not pay him...
It must worked in very dusty place. Nice restoration.
Thanks for your comments. We have not learned the electrostatic painting technology. Will apply for the next project . Thank you
Well done apart the wrong method to put in place the bearings, you almost destroyed it!
@@therestoration2r878 I think there is a misunderstanding, the bearings is well placed but the way you did it with your tool make it suffering. It's better to hit the bearings with a tube on the outside metal ring or if you have a smaller tube, you put a spacer in between to get a flat hit.😉
I don't know if you understood what I sayed, English is not my first language.
Have a good day.
Very nice ❤️ ❤❤❤
I am a fan
I love what you do!⚠️
Thank you
Very good beautiful Follow from Iraq
Pipe should had dipped in thinned primer so that the rusting from inside could be cured and life of wire-pipe could become longer.
If the spray doesn’t work for stubborn screws need to invest in impact drivers. Even using the vise grips may break off heads.
Super........💪
Thank you
Beautiful restoration keep up the great work that rustic look goes for a good amount of money these days
Thank you
WAUW. You are good
Thank you very much
Amazing
I wonder if the drilled sections at the bottom of the pan was to balance it better. And I don't mind the color.
omg we had the british india from 1920's in my grandfather house..
Nice
sehr gut.....sehr gut.....
Won't be long before it will require restoration again. Didn't eliminate all of the rust.
Nice work..Could have used a bright white colour or brown colour
Wow the change is so big you are the best restoration channel. Hello from España
This is a Vietnamese made fan. Not Russian. But it might be a Russian design but made in Vietnam.
Those fans last very very long.
Thank for your comments
@@therestoration2r878 you're very much welcome!
More videos of restauration of ceiling fan plis
If you were restoring it properly, it would be better to color match the original paint color. That baby poop yellow doesn't do this piece justice.😝
Nice bud far from perfect

While watching his videos i'm always in a trouble that how he knows to open everything 😅
Interesting...
Parabens voce e um artista
Where is capacitor
I see "VIETNAM" and "1970". Also NOT a russian fan
What is company name with this celling fan
Video muito bom ta de parabens👏👏👏👏
🎉
I can appreciate your work but I wont feel its a full restoration because cleaning the coil and manual sandblast was not good And painting was also not perfect...
Hello sir what is that spray foam you are using to clean out the attachment holes when putting back on the blades? Thank you!
Looks like it could function as a helicopter main rotor,in case of war
It's not Russian technology, dude, it's Vietnam. I saw
Looks like one of them cheap ass little ceiling fans you get from Walmart for $25 to me...
@@GarrisonsMadHouse Pretty sure he'd die lol.
@@dr.phillnaadoftennessee.9788 You aren't going to find a ceiling fan of that build quality in Walmart for $25.
