Hello 🙋 You should have measured the voltage of the new alternator to see the voltage difference between the old alternator and the new one.

So I have a 93 accord EX and I had my brother check my battery and alternator and they seem to be fine but when I drive, the battery light comes on and off repeatedly for the past week. I booked a stress test at a tire shop but couldn't get me in soon enough... Grrrrh lol. I wonder what my issue with the battery on and off is all about?!

And for the record I have been getting a shreaking noise everytime I start my car for the past month or so. Can that be the alt belt? I do see some shinny area on the belt....

Did Honda go out of there way to make the most complicated alternator replacement ever? Like wtf first Honda and I’m scratching my head. I’ve changed alternators on diesels gms fords heavy equipment, I’ve never seen such stupidity.

You can test alternators by checking to see if it’s in its specified ohms
