I got 120hz to work on PS5 now. If you're having issues as well, go to your PS5 settings, delete saved data and cloud data for the game, make sure performance mode is on, and it should work!
Just to be clear about the M4 clip where I'm talking about visual recoil, I'm referring to the gun/screen shake and not the actual bullet recoil pattern; I just used the no-stock build for the most extreme example. I think in general the weapons in the beta just seem to have more visual recoil than in older cods, which will just take some time to get used to. But I do notice a significant amount of smoke when you shoot certain weapons which does hurt visibility, and I wouldn't mind if it was toned down a bit.

@@Inmate0002 you either max out the m4, then max out the ftac, and you unlock the fss hurricane (which is the p90 mag one), or if you don’t want to grind you can just use the second default class, it’s the gun hes using.

I really like how at 1:40 you start the reload animation by pulling out the empty mag, interrupt it with killstreak but it continues to load the new mag instead of taking out the empty again. mainstream FPS shooters have taken a long time to get to this point
yeah was just about to comment that, back in those days the mag would magically reappear in the gun while you call in the killstreak, then the character would have to restart the whole animation again

It’s a new game. Anytime new games or maps come out everyone plays defensively until the map is learned to try to get more kills rather than exploring. Handler however gives no fucks and raw dog’s it how it should be lmao.

If the community wants the no-stock visual recoil changed, it should be changed. However as a gun guy, I kinda find it charming to see somewhat more realistic animations for what having no stock on your gun would look like while firing full auto. I imagine having no stock on anything would be pretty gnarly trying to hit distant targets.
Exactly they going more realistic now people would have a reason to run muzzle flash because you won't see excess gunpowder

Would be cool to see using a sling to brace forward as an option for SMGs and such
The guns feel really strong in this game, which is more realistic, so that’s cool, I also love the way they sound

TTK is a little too quick though, makes you get sick of the game pretty quickly when all your kills are almost entirely reliant on who gets the first shot off. I preferred the more tactical gameplay of MW2019 where every gun felt different and had perceived weight and a little character, now they feel like they might as well all be the same gun. Something about the current state this game just feels like everything is weightless and arcadey, makes you not care very much about moving with purpose unlike the previous mw where you’re acutely aware of your movement and kills actual feel meaningful. There’s just something about how the combat worked in that game that actually feels intense and rewarding when you pull things off, something that’s been lost on the last few games. In my opinion.
@@BleachCuresBlindness I see exactly what you’re coming from, the guns feel really strong and they all feel the same, but it’s a beta after all so I’m hoping things are gonna get some nerfs and buffs, and hopefully the combat meta will change and hopefully not be one thing people have to rely on.
@@Rensikz as much as I hate strong meta guns, it’s a whole lot worse if all the guns feel the same and each fill almost every single weapon role. The whole multi variant weapon system thing sounded cool in concept but now that I’ve seen it implemented, kinda wish they just added the guns in separately and left out the that cursed M4 lmg and probably that P90 mag sub machine gun M4 or at least just waiting for the game to be out for a while before making it a dlc weapon or new conversion attachment, just looks goofy in beta. Idk, I’m trying to stay optimistic and yeah they’ll obviously do a lot of weapon balancing and hopefully plenty of other changes but I don’t like the combat, it feels more black ops than MW, sure it’s polished but it just looks… idk… disappointing? Only word I can think of to describe it. I played both MW2019 and MW2022 today and overall, in my opinion of course, it doesn’t feel like much of an improvement and I actually had a lot more fun playing the previous game. Both on identical settings on keyboard and mouse btw, regardless I’m still obviously going to play the new game the next few years but ‘19 is still a blast.
I like the direction they're going with attachments. "No stock" should give you crazy visual recoil and you should have the hard choice of choosing between a muzzle brake, flash suppressor and sound suppressor. While they were in previous games, they never felt like a choice I needed to make.
There’s a small detail that I feel like a lot of people missed during NEXT - the player camera changes.
Bullets come from the guns barrel now, not “from the eyes”. It’s very small, but I definitely notice how it’s affecting the guns animations especially during strafing. It’s so satisfying watching the gun lean and sway as if its pivoting on the players shoulder, because well now it is. There’s small disconnects and “delay” in the camera panning and the gun sways.
Again subtle, but its doing so much for the realism. I wonder if anyone’s fully tested this yet (pressing against a wall to have the guns barrel shift away from center screen then firing to see if the bullet impact is where the barrel is pointing or not for example)

This game makes me bust with every small detail like your operator shooting a mag when electrocuted,operators tlaking to each other like if you come behind a teammate you say I got your back, the helmet camera for spectating the Iraqi reload for the AK man this game is a dream

Futives debunked the bullets coming from the barrel thing on last night’s stream. He stood against the wall with the gun fully behind the wall and he was still shooting where his crosshair was (behind the pillar/wall)
@@andydog35 shit, well they’ve really stepped up the animations to feel as if the bullets come from the barrel. Can’t have them all I guess!
The m4 with no stock having that much visual recoil is an absolute plus in my eyes, there would be no way in real life to control the recoil without a stock so it makes sense. It's always irked me that you can get away with having superspeed mobility by having no stock but still laser people at distance

Since it is a game at the end of the day I think they need to and probably will cut out that visual loss BUT should definitely keep the crazy recoil to prevent lasers. I think that would be a fair compromise
The bullet spread pattern seems to be more universal whether you are aiming down the sights or hip-firing; which is very realistic. The whole point of aiming down the sights is to get an accurate sight picture for the target you wish to engage. I also like the fact that full auto fire has significantly increased recoil which nice. For once it seems the semi-automatic fire might be practical in video games; seeing as to how it's the most effective firing mode in real life.

@@hadenandrew7459 assuming you mean real life and not COD (because suppression doesn’t matter in COD) even a 100 rnd drum mag for a m4 isn’t as good as a belt fed. Not as many rounds and not nearly as reliable. M4s are not designed for suppression

The gun doesn't have that much recoil based on the gameplay. At the very least it looks very easy to control for the ak74u.

The maps seem a lot more brighter, very good contrast between players and environment.
For it just being a beta, I'm moved how well it came out, and this is just the start! Cannot wait to see what they offer as far as Blueprints; if they decide to continue them. Looks good, Handler you make it look even better!
If you’re running no stock there should be zero smoothness with your recoil. Lighter for close quarters and that’s your trade off. Really makes you think if you want it on. I think it’s perfect.

I kinda like seeing handler playing TDM. it's a bit less intense than his S&D gameplay, but it's fun to see him just sorta running around spraying people

I like the visual recoil gives a new reason to run suppressors. Muzzle breaks and comps spit gas up like they do in real life. Where the flash hiders and suppressors keep the gas contained.
I can’t wait to play the beta on pc and can’t wait even more for when the game fully launched. It’s beautiful

I think the no stock recoil is perfect. it'll prevent abusing mobility while also having long range domination.
plus, I've shot an m4 full auto with no stock, the recoil can easily get worse than that. I have a dragoon A7 muzzle brake and it still tried to run away from me.

If the gadgets (decoy as an example) are that fun, this might finally be the game that helps fill the hole in my heart for Blacklight: Retribution. You can never replace that game, but you can ease the pain. running decoys, HRV hardsuit decoys and group cloaking was the ultimate mind game with friends.
And I think a lot of recoil is good as long as it's not super bouncy. Used to play Day of Defeat, where if you fired a machine gun unbipoded, you'd shoot the sky, but if you could control it... ooooh boy people would get mad. High recoil, low randomness, feels chunky and requires a bit of skill. much appreciated.

This was the first mwII gameplay I saw and I immediately knew the 74u would be dominant in this game.
I feel like the guns having more recoil adds a nice mix of realism and balance to the guns making them more of a reward when you learn to control the recoil. The graphics look crazy for PS5 and I think this one is a no brainer buy.

Handler you can make your gun visual look a little smaller so that way when shooting it’s not blocking your view just go to field of view and click on show more and change it to wide

Yeah I agree footsteps are SO LOUD! Can confirm for both sprint and fast crouch walk steps are very much audible and the only way to even somewhat mask a footstep is to slow walk/crouch. I find it cool and annoying that the game forces you to use other gun to unlock like a skill tree. (m4 > battle rifle > hurricane smg). There is also a weird visual bug where if your teammate goes down in the hostage game mode they may appear standing up and "stappled" in to some surface like a wall.
footsteps are so loud cuz the minimap will not reveal enemy red dots anymore
The reload for the aks74u is the Iraqi reload its really hard to find in games the only other time this reload was found was in 007 golden eye for the ps2. Pretty coo l to we it in cod
One of the coolest changes from MW19 for me personally is weapons FOV. Guns don't look like they are attached right to your face anymore
it also helps that consoles will now have FOV slider too

Imma be honest the game is a lot different than I thought it would be but I have to say I am super impressed with the gameplay and I’m having alot fun with the new features, of course there are some things that needs to be fixed but that’s natural to new games and I have no doubt that the game will only become even better in the future.

i actually really dig the UI choices in the game so far, nothing is cluttered and the font choice is slick but attention grabbing. only thing is that the notification for your field upgrade is a little distracting, but i'm sure it can be changed a little for the better. looks nice :)

For the reloading animation, they should change your ammo to 0 when you take off the mag, since they are going for this "reload in phases"

This game seems like SUCH a breathe of fresh air, and hopefully fixes a lot of problems mw2019 had. I think tho that my biggest gripe is the UI. It looks like cod mobile and with the game being brighter and less gritty than mw2019 (which is good cause gameplay>realism), the UI makes it a bit too arcady.
Have to agree, the UI looks like a cluster fuck haha. Reminds me of a f2p shooter from the early 2010s. It really lacks the cleanliness and polish of MW19.

It's the Vanguard problem, when it first launched Targets would get lost with the effects. Barrel flash,smoke, debris smoke, muted colors etc.
They need really need a spin off Title one arcade shooter and other authentic, grounded shooter.
Yeah the amount of smoke that comes out of your gun makes it quite hard to see. Especially since they removed red name plates.
I assume the hipfire feels so good in this since the bullets come from your gun now instead of your eyes like they always did

Game looks fun i am glad the movement changed hopefully they fix the slide cancel glitch because it would be fun to have a new movement instead of just slide canceling everywhere. It really seems like they took mw 2019 and just improved it and made it more of what they wanted.
There is slide cancelling but you have to change a bunch of settings in order to make it work and it clearly wasn't intended. They'll probably patch out the workarounds.
That being said, i'd like to see if they implement some other kinds of 'advanced' or faster movement.
With sliding, dropshotting, reload cancelling, crouch speeds, sprint-to-fire times, strafe speeds, ads movement speeds all being seemingly nerfed or not very effective in general compared to MW19 (and other CODs), they really need to add SOMETHING useful to spice up the movement.
They did add dolphin diving and ledge-grabbing, but those seem like novelties that provide little to no practical benefit.
Man stop your whining mate, do you really think I need slide cancelling to dominate you 😂 So many more moves test you need to worry about bot. What made MW19 great was the slide cancel, eventually they will bring it back.

damn the visual effects are immaculate and the UI is so nice and clean as well, but I think the movement mechanics are a bit clunky if you play really fast as I heard you can't actually shoot hip fire while sliding so I hope they change that
