Installing Top Case & Rack on Scooter
Whether you call a top case, storage box or trunk I here today to show you how I installed me. So if you're looking for a hot to install a top case and rack on a scooter, well this video may be for you. I Working with my Lance Havana Scooter, which rack is produce my the company SYM. So you rack may be little different than mine. But it's all good, because the same principles apply. The top case itself is a SHAD SH33 in the color White. This top case is pretty large, capable of casing a full face helmet. (Dimensions: 16.9 x 16.5 x 12.8 inches)

The installation of storage box/trunk/top case and rack a scooter pretty simple and straight forward. It shouldn't take you no more than 20 minute. You so need tools such as a socket wrench with. I ended up sing the 12mm socket. Also you need a screw driver. I used the Stanley Tool Kit.

THANKS ! ! I was looking on ebay and did a search for snap on top case, there seemed to be no such thing, maybe I wasn't calling it what they call it. Yours is exactly what I'm looking for. I knew a lady who had a similar one on her kymco, . I think the one you showed would fit right onto my boom rugged scooter without changing the tailpiece I also may want a removable top case for my street legal dirt bike that I will get in this spring. It may be unusual, but the the bike has absolutely no storage so, I'd be able to run errands and take it off to ride rough off road. If you have more info on these snap on/off top cases I'd like to know.

I was also struggling to find one in my price range... But I did figure out the eBay search to find them if it helps?
Its under categories: Cars, bikes, boats - Vehicle parts & accessories - motorcycle accessories - luggage - top boxes & tail bags 😊 Side note: its mostly called a Top Box or Top Case, but they don't always have snap removal. I'd use that search I said, & put 'removable' in the search box.

Use a ratchet strap to hold and pull in those wayward ends.
Uh, learning how to use one is fun. But makes the job easier. I only have 2 hands.
Question, how long of rear rack can I put on my moped (Genuine roughhouse 2019). The rear rack it came with is so short, I’m not sure what it can even carry on top of it, it seems pointless to me at the short length it is. I was hoping to put a cat carrier on the back so I could take my cats into town for vet appointments. Will any rear rack fit my moped or am I stuck with this short piece of junk

Hi I like your videos I have a 150cc scooter and I was wondering how you do your grocery shopping or methods of shopping with your scooter :)
Before I had the top case, I would just wear a backpack if I decided to go the grocery store on my scooter. My scooter also has a hook where my knee are, so I can hook some bags there as well.
Other tip, which seems obvious but I thought I'd mention... Try put the heavier items under the seat, & maybe even figure out a way to tie an extra bag to the back of your bike too... You'll figure it out if you play around & pop on your problem solving cap 😊❤
I initially had a much smaller bike than I do now (my first was a 125cc Grande Torino) & I solely used that for groceries for over a yr... Can definitely make it work.

Hello, do you know whether à 50l top case Can fit on a 50cc or would it look weird/mâle or harder to balance?
not sure, best bet is just to buy an universal one.

It depends on your style and budget. Do you like more of the sporty look or classic? Are you trying for a cheaper brand or a more quality one?
