Have you seen them in the wild? This is not how they live. This is not a good life for this macaque. He is missing out on so much. At the least he shows signs of depression. You have to know this species well to understand why this is no good. I bet everything i own that one day puka will either die or disappear before he is an adult.
Puka a is pet in domestic environment. Like any other pet he is not stray animal. Primates needs are different than other mammals like dogs,cats, or mammals like cows, sheep or pigs. raised for food.
@@bindu240 well yes this northern pigtailed macaque belongs in a troup with his own kind. His future is not certain by any means. The clothing, bipedal walking, using a fork to eat are all for show. None of that benefits him or prepares him for the future unfortunately. But apparently it makes viewers happy.

Puka needs to keep his little finger out of his mouth! He looks so lonely even though I know how much he loves Mom. Puka is so, so quiet. I wish I could rescue a monkey like Puka. Mom takes great care and a,ways has her little guy well dressed. I think Puka wants to kiss Mom. If he starts undressing himself, Mom will need to put snaps on his clothing in the back rather than the front. Thank you Mom for loving Puka.
