- On this episode of Crazy Will Tech Show, I show you how to add a Raspberry Pi and touchscreen to your 3-D printer. This can be used for any FDM extruder printer. All you’re going to need is your 3d printer, a raspberry pi three or higher, touchscreen and my video showing you how. This really is the best set up in my opinion. A raspberry pi connected to your 3d printer running octoprint is the way to go. Well, I had this WIMAXIT 10.1 Inch laying around collecting dust and I thought, man can I get that connected to my 3d printer? I did and it’s awesome! Now I have remote access to my printer with a beautiful touch interface for when I'm right in front of it. This was surprisingly very fun and easy to do. So, if you have a 3-D printer and you want to bring it to the next level and quite frankly make it easier use, let me show you how to add a touchscreen running auto print to your 3-D printer.
