Educated and thoughtful critique. I have not seen the movie, so I’ll give my almost 10 year-old (in less than a month!) granddaughter’s review: “I liked it better than the cartoon. I like all live-action movies better.” I’m the opposite

I love your in depth review of the film and that you really discussed the music!! Mermaids are my favorite animal/human creature 😂 so my mom thought I loved the Disney little mermaid and said she’d take me to see it but I was never huge on the princess Disney movies. (Btw I do not believe Aladdin is a princess movie, many people tell me it is but I don’t count it as one and it’s def a favorite of mine)
Anyway I really appreciate your passion in this review I love doing movie reviews and I wish we could chat about some movies. If I do see this one I’ll send an email to you with my thoughts 😂

I don't like the live action disney movies. I've watched two. The jungle book was okay, I loved the animal CGI. I strongly disliked beauty and the beast for reasons I won't state here. After that I "swore" off most, previously animated movies, since. Don't get me started on the Aladdin remake 😠 as always much love to you

I disagree that the rap didn't suit the movie. What about that crazy song where the chef tries to cook Sebastian?

That’s not in the live action film. They left out chef Louie completely.

The kids were bored out of their minds in the theater. 2 hours & 15 minutes for a children's movie is much too long. My hubby 3/10. Me 5/10 an average movie at best. Enjoyed your review !!!
