Hi Sophie i find it much easier to go behind the ball and pick something a foot in front of the ball for the ball to roll over on the line you want to hit it. It’s much easier then picking a line were the hole is 20 feet away. If it goes over the spot in front of the ball then all you have to think about is pace. I do this with every club.

Just moved to a centre shafted LAB Mezz 1 putter. Working on the start line and pace as the twisting(torque) as disappeared now from my previous putter.

You didnt mention Left or right eye dominance and its influence on seeing line.

Sophie I'm a 25 handicap and struggle with putting, I either hit it to soft or to hard, i go on the putting green first, but when I am on the course greens just struggle a bit, is there a drill to practice to do to get within about a foot of the hole, because I can't practice on the course greens.
