Fix Your O Goshi || Three Easy Steps

  • I love O Goshi...for two main reasons:
    1) I've had a lot of success with it in competition.
    2) It really feels good throwing someone over with it.
    Because of this, I sometimes start to get a bit passionate when I'm coaching it.
    In this video I go through 3 points for you to focus on to help you fix your O Goshi.

    I love your videos. As a 63 year old 6th kyu, there is so much to learn. I’m tall and light and O-goshi gives me real problems. I’m making all the mistakes you describe and doubtless more. I need to get this one right for my next grade. Thank you!

      @@TheJudoWayofLife Just got my 5th kyu! Still trying to perfect o goshi. As I said, being tall and light (and weak and old!) I find any lifting throws hard - my knees don't bend far enough. But I am getting better and loving every minute of it. Thanks for all your great videos. I keep coming back to them, and this one is really helpful.
