I keep a list of possible outfits on my phone. Not formulas, but actual outfits.

Love how you’ve styled the jewelry and shoes. Makes a huge impact. Recently tailored the neckline of my fav shirts due to weight loss (“oversized” can look sloppy on some).

Thank you for panning to the kookaburra- so lovely - as are the tips in this video. Styling one garment in as many ways as I can will be a fun wee challenge for the coming week or so, as my wardrobe has been honed to pieces that work with a (colourful) sporty chic vibe, and there's space between hangers to see everything at a glance. Finally (in my 70s) have discovered the less items in my wardrobe, the more I have to wear by experimenting with colour and pattern combinations I may not have tried before.
Am loving the pebble locket, will look at that as I'm a gold girl and it's ever so stylish.

I struggle with outfit formulas! I have no idea what + what = stylish!
Check out my outfit formulas video as well. And if you don’t already, go onto Pinterest and start scrolling outfits by searching things you already own. For instance search “blue jeans outfit” and start looking through there to see if there are any patterns/outfit formulas that keep catching your eye. Note them down or save them into a board and go from there. Use this for a few different items you have in your wardrobe that are your favourite pieces and then hopefully this gets your started ❤

Ask if the item sparks joy (lifts you up on the inside as you touch it) before you buy it.
I’ve gotten into the habit of formulas and I don’t find them boring- I play around with different colors/textures with a sprinkle of trendy stuff. I also lost a significant amount of weight recently. Outfit formulas still allow me to wear some of my older clothes and has saved my wallet bc I’m not going out there blind buying a whole bunch of clothes 😅
