- Hey loves,
As you guys know, I've been VERY transparent about my NP journey. I've been sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly with you all. With that being said, I have decided to resign from my first NP job. In this video, I go a little into more detail as to why, as well as, give you some tips that I have learned in the process.
xoxo,
Nandi R.

it's the fact I literally bought food and connected this to the big TV like it's a Netflix special 😭
Ha 😂😂😂😂
Lmfaooo love you BFF 🤣🤞🏾
Congratulations! I’m a current FNP student. I appreciate your transparency. I am a strong believer if you aren’t treated correctly then move on. Life is too short and 40+ hours spent with people who don’t value you is insane.
Exactlyyy! Agreed! Thanks love!!
One thing for sure, two things are for certain, I am crazy about me! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Good for you Nandi for not staying in a place where you’re not appreciated or valued. I was a teen mom and my grandmother instilled in me to stand on business when it comes to how people treat you!
What’s for you, is for you; I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Thank you for always being so transparent and real. I’m taking in all of your lessons as I embark on my journey to NP. Many blessings!🩷
Standing on business all 2024!! Thank you for the love and support ❣️❣️
Wow! I can so relate to this. I quite my first NP job after 8 months for the similar reasons. Even though it’s hard to land a NP job, it’s even harder to stay and deal with mistreatment.
Always have to put yourself first, no regrets over here!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. This happened to me too as a new RN grad last year. I felt so discouraged within myself once I left my 1st job. Thank you for sharing ❤
Of course! Thanks for watching! It's only up from here for us!
I’m sorry this happened to you! But I’m proud of you for recognizing that staying in that job was toxic. I’m looking forward to your new videos where you find your next job! It’s only going to get better! Stay positive 😊
You’re the best! Thank you! 🥲❤️
You are teaching us so much. I am so sorry this did not work out but better is coming your way ❤❤
Thank you, I appreciate it!! 😘
Thank you for always being so transparent. I am studying for boards rn, and this is a common theme I am seeing with new grad NP's. Honestly, what a loss for that practice and their patients in losing such a passionate provider. Trust the process and continue to advocate for yourself like you would do to your patients; can't wait to see how your journey progresses- and thank you for sharing
Thank you for the support! And, thanks for watching! 🥰❣️
Thank you so much for the REAL tea!! So proud of you for choosing YOU!! Never regrets! Love it and love that you're thriving in the new new! Love you!
You're the best! Love you too!!
I'm so glad you did what you needed to do and got out! They dont deserve an PNP like you! Sorry that happened to you
I appreciate you love!!
I so appreciate you sharing your experiences, I have learned so much from you!
Aww, I am glad! Thanks for watching. I appreciate you!!
Congrats. You will feel much better without that job. I will follow your step soon.
Best of luck love!!
Thank you for sharing and always being transparent ❤
Of course!! Thank you for watching!
Hey Nandi I’m sending you an email. I know a physician that’s looking for a peds NP. Let me know if you’re interested. It’s an awesome group.
Thanks again love!! 😇💗
And they need us in the medical field more than we need them!!
Period!!
How many weeks/months did you have to give before quitting?
TBH, it's been so long now that I really do not remember. I definitely was not there a year though. I probably quit after 6 months, but that's just an estimate at this point. I did not sign a contract that required me to stay for a specific period of time, and I am glad I didn't lol so when I was ready to leave, I left. No regrets.
If you had a good job you liked, why quit?
I think you’re referring to the job I said I’ve been at for 6 years - that job is at a women’s health clinic, and I’m a pediatric NP. I would have only been able to utilize my RN license there, not my NP license. Hopefully that makes sense, but I do spin the block on them every now and then PRN 🤣
