Moved to Ponchy 16 years ago. Love this place. People are amazingly nice. Lots to do and always can go to larger cities in less than an a hour. One comment about the schools. Like New Orleans, many of the people send their kids to parochial schools rather than the public ones. It’s a culture thing.
