Solo Camping with unexpected thunder and rain | Lanshan 1

- Join me on my latest trip to the Peak District, the hike started off in almost perfect weather with glimpses of sunshine but towards the end of the hike I ended up being forced to take shelter from the weather at the amazing Bleaklow Stones. Hope you enjoy the video!

Loads more space in the Lanshan 2 for one person, still not much over 1kg in weight, worth it. Great vid many thanks.

Perhaps a Lanshan 2 would suit you. Same tent but bigger. I like my 2 Pro, condensation aside. Weather wasn't the best, but at least it cleared for some nice views and kept the crowds away!
Yeah, Lanshan 2 might be a good shout! The weather was not the best but like you said it kept the crowds away, got the place to myself which is amazing considering it was the weekend in the school holidays! Thanks for watching and commenting Kev, really appreciate it 🙂

Ahhh, the amazing Bleaklow Stones. That's a good spot you chose. I tried one a bit further towards the edge on my last camp, but it was a tab bumpy.
Yeah the Lanshan is great, but is a tad small inside, especially if you need to shelter in there for a bit. What you eyeing up tent-wise? Anything in mind?
Yeah I camped at this spot earlier in the year on the snow, love this part of the Peaks.
Not sure just yet, looked at the Terra Nova Northern Lite as a 4 season maybe, but I got a new tent from Nightcat Outdoors to test out. It's a 2 man so should give me a bit more room

lanshan1 is very suitable for British solo.
Yes it's an excellent tent, been my go to tent for a while now. Good quality and really light too, and the space is pretty decent for a 1 man tent. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment, much appreciated, just checked out your website, you have a great selection of tents !

Nice one. Stu. I’d rather have that weather than the roasting I had in the Lakes today. I’ve never bailed because of heat before. I didn’t even make it to stickle tarn! When I put my face in Dungeon gill, even the fast flowing stream didn’t take my breathe away. It was almost lukewarm 🥵
Yeah I'd much prefer cold and wet than hot weather! I always struggle when it gets really warm. Can't wait for winter to come back 😂
maybe you could just pitch the outer fly first without the inner tent so that you can have a larger room and sort out your gears and change clothes more comfortably..just attach the inner tent once you're done or when it's bedtime already..

Yeah that's actually a really good idea, it was a really fun trip though even with the rain. It's nice being out no matter the weather.

You can't beat a good cheese burger! Yeah the weather wasn't great but still had loads of fun, I actually quite like the bad weather 😂

Did you choose an alternative tent?
I'm still on the lookout for a new tent, although I have had a couple of new additions since this video. Nightcat very kindly sent me a 2 man backpacking tent which has tons of space in it, although it's not the lightest and more recently picked up an OEX Salamanda bivvy, which is even smaller than the Lanshan 😂
I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. I like your CZcams videos a lot. Your CZcams content is very informative. I follow your CZcams channel. I noticed one thing on your CZcams channel, the views of your videos are less compared to how attractive your content is. your videos are not getting views according to the amount of effort you put into them or according to what you deserve. I have a solution for this, if you SEO your videos properly, organic traffic to your videos will increase, views can increase three to ten times, and subscribers will increase along with it. If you notice some of the top CZcams channels in the USA like @toysandcolors (43 M subscribers) and @marshmello (56 M subscribers) have been SEO, their videos since the beginning of their channel till now to increase their views & subscribers.
I have fixed these issues for some of my previous clients and now their channel growth is much better.
