The Louisville Slugger 916 and 918 were my 2 favorite BBCOR bats I ever used up until I got my Voodoo One. Curious to see how they would compare to the Icon.
918 prime might be the most satisfying bat to ever hit witht lol

Totally Agree! The Aeroburner Comp as a light swinging composite should have been revisited. Will has gotten stronger and his swing has improved. This vid would have been comprehensive is the aero burner comp was compared. Cool vid nonetheless.

You mentioned it at the end I don’t think I’ve ever seen you swing the Prime 918 on the channel. I’d be very curious to see how it stacks up against the Icon since it’s the only bat I’ve used for the past 6 years and I’ve loved it. Although, It’s the only bbcor I own so for all I know I might’ve been swinging an overpriced dud for all these years 😅

I'd love to see a video where you take the three best bats (in your opinion) from Rawlings, LS, DeMarini, Easton, Warstic, and others and put them in a battle to see which brand makes the best bats. That would be cool to see!!

I don’t know much about the Prime 918, and I know it’s a while ago but could possibly the Mariucci Cat-5 that was banned over a decade ago could compete with the Icon? I think we can start having a discussion of the Icon being the best BBCOR of all time
Please do a Louisville slugger 918 prime from 2018 bat review. It’s my gamer and is such an underrated bat that I got for just $80. (If its hard to find it’s color is mainly black with blue and red writing)

Combat B2 ATB is a good contact hitter bat, and it's under $200

In my experience, that z1000 is an above average bat. But when the sound changes, it's the outer plastic ring breaking on the restrictor ring. Then it's insane! But it's on borrowed time. My son has broken 2. He still has 3 more. Lol

2015 Easton Mako
Composite in BBCOR just doesn't have enough room to reasonably separate itself from any Alloy. Now that is by design of BBCOR, since composite bats go from underwhelming to dangerous fairly quickly (see: 2022 Hype Comp -5 vs 2023 Hype Fire -5), but it's very telling that the Icon is 2nd on the Bat Bros Top 55, with the next comp bat at 17th (Combat B2 ATB), and the next 2-pc comp at 32nd (LS Meta 2023). Not to mention that the #45-#55 has 6/10 bats as $380-$500 comp bats that are discounted by 40-80% on the secondary market because they blow so hard.
A broken in Prime is great, but takes forever to break in. Bought my 33in bbcor for $45 with very little use. Much heavier than the Meta.
That Icon is legit. Curious if the USA version will compare to the still best composite in USA IMO the 919 Prime.

Ok. This might be a hot take on hittrax vs rapsodo, but i feel the rapsodo is better on the low and high ends of velo, but hittrax is better in the midrange of velos. I may be completely wrong on that but thats just my personal opinion. Im completely open to being wrong. Correct me if i am
