I think workshop warrior meant that this channel isn't fake and doesn't post click bait like 90 percent of youtubers do.....thats just my thoughts on the subject though
Skeets McGrew I was watching while he was spinning stationary, and I couldn’t see much deviation in the outside of the wheel. That’s extremely impressive precision work that he’s done.
A note to the narrator guy: Thanks for all the time you invest in making these to allow us to enjoy this content. For english speakers your voice is now synonymous with this channel. Would love to see a video sometime just introducing yourself and what's involved in dubbing these videos.
To the young mechanic...when you are grinding metal, ALWAYS wear eye protection !! I am an idiot from Massachusetts USA, and worked on cars for 40 years. I STILL have a piece of metal behind my right eye, because back in the 1980's, I didn't wear eye protection . You are young, and have many many years to SEE. Be careful. Peace
A brand new grinding wheel once decided to break apart a small piece, luckily i only got a few strands in my eyes and only had to clean them out. I count myself as very fourtunate.
MustNotSleep MustWarnOthers that’s the product of communism. They used to get those for free, but with many years waiting time. They also made a special car just for handicaps. So handicap people received a free one person or one passenger handicap car, etc...
Transporting old Russian cars to the us doesn’t make any sense. But you could go to Canada and buy a Lada Niva and drive it back to the US, probably...
And now to the news: A neighbor to Garage 54 did get a shock and had to be driven to the hospital after seen a car with standard tires, driving out of Garage 54!
They would've had better traction if that Lada had an LSD. As it is, because the chains don't grip enough on their own, the car just does one wheel peels. They'd get better results if both rear wheels actually tried to push the car along
This is insane or genius there's a fine line there 😂 I love how every episode is like a loss from a drunken bet. Chain tires, wooden pistons, Tesla pickup, to unconventional liquids in different engine systems. Love it. Wish I could come to garage 54 to see this beautiful madness in person.
Pretty amazing how they held up with just a few welds. This channel is so hilariously entertaining! They come up with such wacky experiments & thanks for the translation as always!
Here in Ohio, two feet of snow: Why is the plow truck stuck in my yard? Why is the tow truck spinning out at the end of the road? Why am I still out here?
I love that I don’t have to hear some random dude saying “it’s ya boi” and “smash that like button!!!” Your doing your part to make the world a better place. We thank you.
Geeze, them Russki welder dudes are some tough hombres...'we don't need no stinkin' welder gloves'...an' them Russki grinder dudes...'we don't need no friggin' safety glasses'..... 'What The Blyat' !
Hey, fellas, I just wanted to let you know, not all your viewers are fellas! Now, here in the UK, we used to use "cage-wheels" on our farm tractors about fifty years ago - I'm surprised you took so long to catch up! 😂 I definitely think you needed more ribs across the "tyre" surface, or even add a third rim of chain around the centre line of the tyre, and adopt a tractor style pattern of cleats, maybe even use angle iron strips for the treads? I'm impressed by how those spokes held up. I personally would have gone for tangential spokes rather than radial, and would have used more of them. Great show fellas! Keep them coming.
👍 Definitely more cross-sections would have given more flotation. Would have been nice to see it work on snow free solid ice. But to see that welded chain links work wow. 🤠🐂🏞️🛩️
Snow chains lol. More bridges would be cool but man that cat/dog car! How about a revival with a flipped diff on one end, linked controlls and some kind of extention on the rear half's steering to a small second steering wheel next to the driver and an exhaust system? I cant believe how few views the cat/dog recieved. Thank you and rock on!
You guys never stop amazing me hahaha. Great channel and content keep it up! 🤣 You guys give me more anxiety for a new episode than Game of Thrones back in the day
You guys always do Excellent work! Thanks for these videos they are very entertaining. I think these would have worked if you put many more links in-between the inner and outer rim. Having only a few, the weight is mostly only resting on the inner and outer chains, with very little surface area, making the chains dig into the snow. I think if you finished adding more links in-between the inner and outer rim with chain links, it would work, they would be heavier though.
Man i just love how you guys are never fake clickbait.
Wow, mind blown by this comment

Mad respect for the welder. This worked out 100x better than I could have imagined

American channel: "Do not ever do this at home"
Russian channel: "Try it out for yourselves"
caiocc12 😂
So true :)
Because in Russia there arent millions lawyers waiting for anyone to sue anyone else for whatever reasons.
Narrator sounds Canadian and translating into local dialect.
Holiday season is not something we use in English.
Using some sort of eye protection while cutting with a grinder would be good. What is old dude teaching these kids?!!🤔🤔

Aleksandar Mijatovic they will die before video ideas stop

This channel makes me want a Lada.
They sell those for like $300

I'm just amazed they didn't fling apart break the welds
Should have welded the differential together and made it a Lincoln locker
Mike's channel was just about to say that!
And now to the news: A neighbor to Garage 54 did get a shock and had to be driven to the hospital after seen a car with standard tires, driving out of Garage 54!
I want to see him put skis as replacements for front wheels
When the GoPro is more expensive than the car :)))
Considering the crazy potential this idea has I hope they revisit it next winter. Just imagine if you had 5 chain loops instead of 2. The traction!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking. 5 should do it just fine.
They would've had better traction if that Lada had an LSD. As it is, because the chains don't grip enough on their own, the car just does one wheel peels. They'd get better results if both rear wheels actually tried to push the car along

everything these guys do i've thought of in my head, but nobody's actually done it. love it
HAHAHA....this is the reason I dont have TV. As usual, well done! Cheers from Canada.
Chains, these guys must have serious fun brainstorming!
America: Put chains on your tires.
Russia: Make tires out of chains.
Meanwhile in Russia... Welding galvanized steel
Just don't breathe
A little bit of zinc poisoning never hurt anyone...
IMPRESSIVE. Far better than American car build videos. 🖒👍
Just wanted to shout out the editor of these videos! Keepin it fresh! 😏
now thats what you call snow Tyre chains, another great vid vlad
Please make this again with more chains on the tread
Helmet on the rear passenger seat : AM I A JOKE TO YOU ?
Welding protection gear: ....
So thats what a russian summer looks like ;)
This is some of the best content on CZcams, you guys are creative on a whole other level
more bridges at 45 degree angles, then go climb Everest
No clickbait, No BS, just crazy Russians having fun and doing cool shit👍
It's the differentials fault, not the wheels, an open differential will get through nothing.
Its a welcome sight to see snow when its 10,000 degrees outside. Summer

Wait a second.. it's snowing in Russia right now wooow... Wtf
I think the video was recorded back in winter and was only recently translated into English.
@@mistertree553 you are correct, sir
Okay because that will make a lot of sense 😂😂
This would make one hell of a good winter tire😂
Edit: and as usual i typed before i watched😂
They worked a whole lot better than I expected. More chains between the rims would definitely work, how about trying on tarmac?
Would love to see you do a hotwheels style Lada. HUGE engine, massive rear tyres and wild bodywork

Could try filling in the cross bracing with expanded metal instead more like metal tread.
so now put chains on your chain wheels and you will never get stuck in snow agian =D

Good welds. First class job.
Would have been interesting to see these on asphalt. Spark show!
This man's putting tire companies out of business
Now those are literally, literally in a literal way, some very literal tire chains!
Would be nice to see this experiment again but putting all 4 chain tyres on a 4WD car.
Love it from Ireland.
Light weight racing tire. It won't pop, Low wear and comes in diffrent grades haha. That's awesome
You should convert the niva into a half track.
Then he should cut a hole in the roof to mount an ak on it lol
The only channel that doesn't use clickbait or even need to lol
Absolutely fabulous!
Brings whole new meaning to tire chains.
You should add some sheet metal on between the spokes and see if it gets better.
Love your video's! Keep making new ones!
Lol awesome grocery cart welding cart
"Hey, it's snowing outside, we should go put chains on the wheels."
"We don't have wheels, only chains."
Honestly if you improved the chains integrity and added more bridges it would be the dream winter tire for off roading
You should add skis on the front, like a snowmobile.. it would sail over the snow with no problems
The Lada experiment channel is the best channel.
