People let them sit and thats a nono not too mention the ethanol in the gas anymore. Secret 2 a good carb cleaning is an ultrasonic cleaner. If you dont have a machine do an overnight soak in carb n choke cleaner then fine clean your main jet and any ports or open passageways carefully
Would you be able to know why my predator has a line that is connected to the carb but it is not connected to nothing and when I turn on the gas that line starts leaking
Of course you don't have to but I advise you to clean the tank change the hoses replace the on and off gas switch and blow through the lines and the fuel pump with a air compressor hose so with everything l took off to clean the carburetor was for all those reasons also not just cleaning the carburetor because just cleaning the carburetor but still having a dirty line dirty tank or dirty fuel pump and a dirty off and on gas switch is pointless of having a new carburetor or clean carburetors because all your doing is causing another dirty or clogged carburetor by having a sticky float for sand traveling to the clean carburetor

Definitely saving this vid, my brother picked up an 04 Pred 500 and it's struggling to start, hoping changing the fluids and cleaning carb fixes this

The hose that runs to the top of the motor where the heads at; is that the impulse line? I cant seem to find that
Take notes on the copperretor and the gas switch do your homework on the throttle body to I never know that there was one on the quad
On the second one its go too the carb not the motor .

If that's the hose that's on the bottom of the carburetor that means your carburetor needs to be clean or replace eBay has them for $35
Or you can buy the carburetor kit is $13 bucks on eBay
It’s a overflow for the gas coming out of the carb
