I actually stumbled onto your channel looking for channels focusing on building or designing from scratch for inspiration. I started watching at the point you were already in the house, but just recently went back and watched the whole home design and purchase process and I must say I am more than inspired!! Great advice. I purchased a new place a year and half ago. I am super picky and know what I like. I knew going it was going to take me time to complete my vision for my place and that is completely fine. I had no intentions upon rushing out to purchase a whole bunch of crap I knew I didn't want just to fill my space. I am doing things in stages so I can either save my money for what it is I do want and or make final design decisions based upon clear focus. I find friends can sometimes be super annoying like why don't you get this or that. I am like its okay. It's my home. I live here and I work at my pace. Do what you want at your house.
