I love your bookart project, thank you for putting it on. I have struggled with a few bindings, but the sari silk binding takes it to another level. The most difficult part I find, is keeping the punched holes of the signature aligned to pull the needle through.
This was a lot of fun to watch while I was spreading gesso on some squares of paper I cut out from a magazine. You got me thinking maybe I could do a sott cover book for my next project! Thanks Robyn!

Gorgeous pages: sight, sounds and smells so far! Loving it! Thank you Robyn. I ended up having to just do a pamphlet stitch and using waxed linen (black) thread because the sari silk kept breaking, even when I pre-crocodile-punched the holes! I also wanted the folder to lay flat when opened. It worked nicely. Patience isn't one of my attributes I suppose.
Omg, thank you for leaving in all the little snags that come up with binding. It can be a little frustrating when videos show how easy it is. When the reality is snags happen even to experts. Thank you. I love this.
