I would've tried doing a wraparound in a way that I could maintain the stride (I can picture Jamal Crawford doing something like that). But I can't question his choices, I'm not in the nba - I'm the faceless internet chirping from the stands. He still made him fall and still got by him... maybe the stop/hesi/shot fake movement was the reason he fell at all.
