... Hello ! I returned to Italy from London late last night. I came to your city - as always - to see concerts from my time (I'm almost 55 years old). I love the London atmosphere to death. It doesn't have a soul. It has a thousand souls. In Italy we have many testimonies of the artistic history of our common civilization. But what strikes me deeply about the English is the ability to feel the past as the present, and at the same time, the future. My friend who hosted me has the same carpet. And her London friends of hers have the same carpet ... :-) Maybe we have a greater aesthetic variety. But we envy your way of being "English".
