- Luck struck again for me this year and with 15 points I was able to draw BBRSP archery mule deer buck and javelina tags. This was an absolute rollercoaster of a hunt with some super highs and bad low's. Aoudad, Javelina, Mule Deer Bucks make their appearance. How many points did it take to draw the archery hunt?
It's a random draw so you have a chance at any point level, but I had 10 or 11 if I remember correctly.

The invasive species (Aoudad) isn’t a shot opportunity?
Unfortunately, from what I've gathered talking to some wardens, a few years ago a Desert Bighorn was mistakenly shot after is was thought to be an Aoudad. Now, where there are bighorns they don't allow the Aoudad to be shot by public hunters. I get it, don't like it.

I'm on the same hunt in november.any tips you can provide ? What unto were you ? Do you suggest that unit? Did you sit over guzzlers before the rains came ? I'm even more handicapped as I'm using a long bow for the hunt. Any help you can provide is appreciated . Great hunt !
The hunt in November is a rifle hunt, why are you using a long bow?
@@jamesmjubran no they actually moved one of the archery hunts to November this year. Much smarter IMHO , probably more deer movement.
@@paulhodges1550 are you certain? From what I see in the booklet, there’s only one archery hunt and one rifle hunt there this year, just as in previous years
