I've been sleeping on this man. I remember him from when I lived in France. He BLEW UP! He was on everything. Then, gone. But I heard of his work over the years. So I knew he took a step back from the spotlight in order to start doing business and making more money than the artists. He was smart. But I'm also glad he recognized it's time to enjoy life. It isn't guaranteed. Any one of us can be gone tomorrow. No matter how rich you are.

That's real though. I'm so bad with holidays and birthdays too. I didn't grow up celebrating a the time. My mom did her absolute best, no doubt. Single mom abandoned in a foreign country with too much pride to return home. She overworked like hell. No time to rest or be sick.
So naturally those days are that special. At a young age we stopped celebrating to save money. It was that tough. She couldn't do it. But then it got better, and better... then worse and worse. But hey, that's life. May she now rest in peace. Can't believe it's been over a year. Miss ya mamá.
