@Kosan Thank you Kosan, I'm happy that you enjoyed it! I was comparing the PackTowl Luxe with the PackTowl Personal (the charcoal colored towel in the middle) and the Matador NanoDry (the red/rust colored towel on the right). Hope this helps!
Great quality review, what kind of pants are you wearing in the absorbency test?
@Joel Hudson Thank you Joel! I'm glad it was helpful. These are convertible pants that I got from Decathlon, the Quechua brand. I don't have the pants on hand with me at the moment so I'm not sure of the exact model, but I got them a while ago so I'm not sure if it's still available in stores.
Your videos are great! Could you do the review and rating of the Sand Cloud towels? I am very curious how they would rank in comparison to PT Luxe and others.

@Malwina Fidyk Hey Malwina, I've never used the Sand Cloud towels but they remind me a lot of the Nomadix towel that I have. amazing review, do you think the smaller size of the luxe will be enough to dry off whole body, this one looks pretty big
Hi Qiuhong, thanks for the question! I'm glad you like the review btw 😊 And yup this one is pretty big, and it dries me off well. I don't have the smaller size of the luxe though, but I do think that one size smaller might still work because our skin doesn't have that much water after a shower. Plus, you can always wring it out and use it to wipe again 😊
Hi, whats the best camping towel for glamping and wanting a towel that is just the right size to get the job done, and also drys the fastest not to get water or moisture in my car too much? Thanks
Hi! Thanks for the question! 🥰 Hmm for glamping and traveling, I like the PackTowl Luxe (this one that you're watching the review of). It doesn't exactly dry the fastest though. If you want something that dries quick, I found that the thinner the towel, the better. A thinner towel would be the PackTowl Personal, and if you don't mind an even thinner towel (paper thin), you could go with the PackTowl UltraLite. I hope this helps!
AMAZING detailed video. Do you know if the pouch is waterproof? I didn't catch that if it was answered in the video and I watched twice, ha!
Thank you so much Clarissa! I'm glad you liked the video 😊 And oh dear I didn't answer that in the video haha. I didn't do any testing on the pouch itself but if I don't remember wrongly, I think it's a little water repellent but not waterproof.

Question: is the 100ml test supposed to be a close simulation of how wet the towel will be after drying ones whole body after a regular shower at home?
Hi Ricky, yup that was the idea behind it. I weighed a few of my towels after showering and found that they typically absorbed between 50ml (1.7fl oz) to 75ml (2.5fl oz) of water, so I decided to just go with 100ml (3.4fl oz) as a rough gauge. The amount of water absorbed will vary quite a bit from person to person, depending on hair length and body size though. Hope this helps :)

I'm sorry to hear about that :( But I gave your comment some thought and I realized that "sticking to skin" can be quite a subjective feeling! Cos my first camping towel was the Sea to Summit DryLite and man was that a pain in the but*! Super sticky. So when I discovered this PackTowl, it felt like a dream haha 😅 I hope this clarifies a little bit!
size and color?
Hi Adam, thanks for your question! I got this from REI in a Body size (25 x 54 inches), in a Rainforest color. I don't think they still have this color though, because they were closing out the color when I bought it.

HEADS UP: the pack towel is STRETCHY. Makes it hard to dry off my back when I hold it behind me and try to pull left and right. I dont know why they made it so stretchy. Major downside to me.
