I'm afraid that I just might have to change the timing belt. Since the whole car is cheap as f*** I just might try to do it myself. Weather is bad here at the moment when the rain stops I have no choice but to put a timing belt kit on my 1.1 Fiat panda active I also have to put in a clutch kit and a new alternator and water pump so I will be busy and will try upload a video. For now weather is bad
the best engine that ever made , even if the timing belt fall or cut of nothing happens to the engine

On the gear box there a small window that you can see the point on the fly weel and this the timing point of the crank

The mark on the crankshaft pulley must allign with the toothbelt mark.Same with the camshaft
How did you take off the channel belt gear/ prevent from spinning while unbolting

Are the fiat fire engines not non interface safe engines
only the 8v and don't have cam 866 and. The 16 Valve go-to collision with piston due to chigher comp ratio
Only 1.1 and 1.2 60 BHP are safe engines, all else clash

It's a non-interference engine so if the belt brakes it want do any harm to the engine
