I ate less sugar and cooked at home with nutritious foods.

Hi Mary, I'm guessing you already tried the remedy but just in case (and for all others who don't know Hindi), this is in a nutshell what she said: mash a boiled potato with wild turmeric (if you don't have wild turmeric then you can use any other - even the one in your kitchen) really well in a bowl so it's all mush. Store it in the fridge and just before using it, take a little portion out and add in 2-3 drops of lemon juice. If you're really sensitive then you can use milk cream or rose water, but she strongly recommends using at least 1 drop of lemon juice. Again, mix it really well and apply it on your face. Ideally, this should be done at night for 10min and then you *scrub* it off (don't wash it off). Go to sleep and the next morning, wash your face. Do this for 1 week to see the results. Hope this helps. :)

For me amount of lemon juice I used gave me a little burning sensation but moisturiser helped me settle so no worries

I used it for 7 days it indeed lightened my acne scar but I had small breakouts also ! It made me concerned ! I got pus pimples! It did not show a drastic change in my dark acne marks but it lightened a little bit
