LYRICS
My life suffocates
Planting seeds of hate
I've loved, turned to hate
Trapped far beyond my fate
I give, you take
This life that I forsake
Been cheated of my youth
You turned this lie to truth
Anger
Misery
You'll suffer unto me
Harvester of sorrow
Language of the mad
Harvester of sorrow
Pure black looking clear
My work is done soon here
Try getting back to me
Get back which used to be
Drink up
Shoot in
Let the beatings begin
Distributor of pain
Your loss becomes my gain
Anger
Misery
You'll suffer unto me
Harvester of sorrow
Language of the mad
Harvester of sorrow
All have said their prayers
Invade their nightmares
To see into my eyes
You'll find where murder lies
Infanticide
Harvester of sorrow
Language of the mad
Harvester of sorrow
Language of the mad
Harvester of sorrow - Hudba
My time machine is almost complete, who's coming
Me please
Count me in
me too
Sign me up my guy
I'm fuckinggg in brother

No only Lars in his prime, but Lars *drum EQ* in its prime!
this is how the drums should sound in Justice for All. It's shame that the drums sounds like shit on that album.
Can you ride the lightning with them?
@@poIand966 this. I love 'Justice' songs with passion, but the production in that album is so questionable. The worst part is that the drum sound of Justice was the result of sucking all the bass from the mix (we all know how that went)
Nicolás Riveros a lot of hate on the black album. But they don’t realize that the black album is the most well produced Metallica album. Guitar/bass tone is spot on, and ofc Lars drum snare sound so fckin awesome
It's really impossible to dislike this and be serious...
Jugolbrazowy I could see one argument. Timing. Then again that's coming from a perfectionist on a video of dudes on assloads of coke performing live.

My gosh Hetfield sounded so boss back then.
Hetfield's voice sounded like 100 angry drill sergeants back then. Pure bad ass

Man Hetfield's presence on stage is just so commanding. And that voice, fukk.

Out of all those fans, Jason is the biggest.

damn right \m/
Absolutely!! They were definitely at their peak on that record \m/
Metallica proved that they were miles ahead of any band at that time and were unstoppable, until they decided to stop themselves.
just a shame they cut Jason out of the album! :/
Paul Howarth they announced a remaster of AJFA and St. Anger actually
No amount of internet shit-talking would convince me otherwise. Lars is the greatest metal drummer for me.
Yep 100%. One of the greatest drummers in not only metal but rock in general.
Two words: Jason Newsted.
Benjo James 2 words: fuck you
Benjo James
Wrong...Cliff Burton. He was quality control. They went downhill after his death.
Nah man.....James Hetfield
Benjo James two words: who dat?
Jason Newsted was treated like shit, he was a decent bassist. He wasn't cliff but he got so much shit he didn't deserve.
If Metallica were non humans:
Jaymz - Lion
Lars - Beast
Jason - Satan
Kirk - Wah
Sebastian Sebastiano Haha Wah xD
Lars- god

Best metal vocalist that ever lived, at this period. IMO

Metallica never played better. Maybe the best heavy metal gig in music history.
5:04 - 5:55 pure masterpiece. For me personally, the best 50 seconds of the whole human-kind history
YES!!! That bit is my favourite part of And Justice, which is my favourite album of theirs. I'm so glad someone else heard the genius of this section.
You are realizing that solo is god damn unique after listening so much metal. Kirk did an amazing thing but no one realizes it
Wish James still had this voice.
We all do..
No one can keep singing like this for almost 40 years, his voice litterally blew up in 1993 because of the tension that were caused by his singing

One of the best drum sounds from Lars
Their performance here had to have among the absolute best in Seattle of 89. Not just in Seattle, but their entire career onstage. I keep coming back to the Seattle 89 concert, EET FUK....
When James was like a fuckin Lion ready to eat you alive if you didn't headband the shit out of yourself.....
Am I the only one that handles this masterpiece with grace until 3:20, and ends up loosing his shit headbanging with that crash and the main riff?
How did they get that gunshot sound of that snare??!!?? It's freakin' awesome
Imagine St Anger with that...
Yes, gunshot sound! This is the ultimate description of this sound :D

Drummer9210 it's all tuning and micing
i came to your rescue a year too late, its blended with the sample of the black album snare (cause this was released with the binge and purge stuff years later)
Look how fast Lars mutes his cymbal by hand at 3:20.
Gosh he was amazing back then
This might have the heaviest riff I’ve ever heard in my life. Just perfection
It's amazing the popularity these guys had with hardly any radio airplay and one video from this album.

theres no way..some random kids got together pretty much taught themselves how to play and a couple years later put this concert on..
the heaviest stuff of Metallica, great.
Sometimes I feel like I was born at the wrong time for music. So f*ing good. This Had to be one hell of a show.

But yes, I 200,070,069% agree with you
Hell yeah , he's a Fuckin Boss
There are a lot of legendary frontmen that's for sure and James is near the top. He gets extra points for slaying riffs while singing
Freddie Mercury may be the greatest front man.

Lars at 3:21 beating the absolute fucking brakes off those drums ❤
My favorite part. All of them going the fuck in.
I hope them drums especially the snare was over 18!!
Metallica were so inventive in their build up and interesting variations within each song. Beautiful in the old sense of art--not modern art--where reflection on negative emotions make it all the more possible to bear them, and even make the art beautiful to hear or see. One of the miracles of the world.

Metallica was on top and the crazy people were sane.
the crazys were 3 blocks away standing by themselves and nobody gave a fuck
It has a tonne of competition, especially from the likes of Sad But True, but Harvester somehow manages to be the heaviest Metallica song ever IMO, particularly this Seattle performance and also the Moscow 91 version. It's not the fastest or the most technical track on AJFA, in fact it's simplicity stands it in stark contrast to tracks like Frayed Ends and AJFA itself. Harvester is just raw power - it oozes hatred and anger. James' drunken (yet amazingly still exceptionally competent) delivery adds even more rawness to it. It screams "get the f out of my way".
Well said brother or sister. Just to add to your words, the intensity thrown in this song is second to none. Hands down just pure raw power and drive.
3:19-3:22: Peak moment in “YEAHHH!” history
