@@adithyaabhishek8042 If you take a look at most work boots with bottom rough out - top smooth, they look pretty cool on the websites with the two tone colors, after half a year they are all one color, and the rough out becomes much smoother.

They look good but I’m not a fan of the suede or two tone. But nonetheless a high quality boot!
I've spent considerable time going through the design process online for Nick's, Westco and White's; I like models of each. I likely wear an 8.5 EEE, but have worn 9D for years in off-the-shelf boots and at 55 yo am starting to pay physically in my feet and lower back.
If I'm going to spend $400-$1,000 on boots/shoes then they better fit like a glove, which means I need custom-made, so the measurements are essential. Westco has a 37 week lead time currently on all boots and shoes; that's a long time to wait and not be right. So I'm biting the bullet and driving to Scappoose, OR, North of Portland, to visit Westco then driving the 372 mi to Spokane, WA to get measured at Nick's too. I'll likely drop by White's as well.
The quality of Nick's, as well as Westco, is astounding, and the custom-made variety is overwhelming, though neither company has a very good website to see the finished product as it really is with all the selections available, so I want to see the goods in person. It will be a nice vacation and eventually my feet will love me for it.
"I need custom made" Do you though? Are your feet abnormally shaped? If not, custom made most likely is unnecessary.
@@Totemparadox not abnormally shaped, but either my left foot is wider than the other, or every off-the-shelf 8.5EE left boot I've ever tried is too small. So the way I've dealt with this is to wear 9D which I stretch-out and then my foot moves back-and-forth heel-to-toe. Now my lower back, hips, knees, ankles and feet are getting sore. I don't want to order 8.5EE or EEE and not have them fit right; I'd rather go right to the source, get it done right the first time, and have a little 1,800 mile round-trip vacation too. But thanks for your concern.
@@fraa888grindr6 Damn. In that case you should def go custom. I just wanted to make sure, cause a lot of people want custom, when that's not necessary.

I'm sure they are nice if you willing to wait for at least 6 months. Ordered the Americana the end of Jannuary and they haven't started working on them yet.

We were talking about the Rose Anvil collabs I got from y’all earlier. I just saw the video on Trenton & Heath. Gotta say. I didn’t quite care for them. Came here to see if it’d change my mind… let’s find out.!
Edit: They look great from every angle just like the Trenton & Heath video..but, straight on. Something about that toe box I don’t find appealing. Someone commented on the fact that they are wingtips.. maybe. I’m just not sure. I’m 100% certain they will be selling out and will be loved by their owners. Looking forward to your next endeavor!

They are not symmetrical in the toe box. the wingtip on the left boot is off slightly off I guess when something that’s completely handmade can be off slightly

These boots look like the car Homer Simpson designed. The design does not look cohesive at all, its like they tried to add anything they could think of. Hey lets add a Wing Tip!!! without broguing, it look out of place. Lets add rough out!!!! again they way its done looks weird. Why is the flat side of the leather showing? Because of the mis guided attempt at adding a wing tip.....
