One of the best things my mother ever did for me was to not give me a cassette tape with my pink walkman on my 13th birthday. I found The Number of the Beast cassette and listened to it till the batteries died. Bruce's voice... Run to the Hills...phenomenal! Milli Vanilli and Bros posters were soon replaced with Iron Maiden and everything metal.
I'm 46 now, I won't ever tire of listening to your music. Thank you, you are absolute legends!
Same here! By buddy got a Powerslave cassette from his grandma for Christmas and didn't like it and gave it to me...I'm still listening 35 years later and Maiden remains my favorite band of all time !

That was a throwback to see again. Short hair is a requirement to be a pilot, so it doesnt get tangled in the headset. Once he's allowed to tour and fly Ed Force One again, it will be short hair Bruce again.

Time fly's. I saw the video and thought, "who the hell is this?" Last time I saw him he was all trimmed up on a video. Either his hair growth's incredibly fast, or my sense of time is slipping. I fear the answer leads toward the latter.
It took him a good while, but Bruce got his hair back to the length from the good ol' days. Not like it matters, short or long, he's still that muthafuckin' Air Raid Siren. Up the Irons! 🤘

In all honesty, though, I am glad that Bruce isn't vain and trying to hide his age like some old rockers (*cough*GeneSimmons*cough*) and looking ridiculous as a result. He still moves, sings, and commands the stage like he did 30+ years ago IMO, and as long as Maiden has the drive and ability to get out and play, I think that's freaking AWESOME! Really looking forward to seeing them again in the future!

I’m sixteen now but was six when I was first started getting into Maiden, I’m so happy my father and uncle raised me listening to metal and rock. By far my favorite band, UP THE IRONS.
Thats great to hear bud👍. Im 53 and have been a maiden fan since i was 13!. Can attest to my hearing loss from walking around in my teens with a tape deck (ask your dad), stuck permanently to my ear!

Listened to Maiden when I was a young lad going through school and even during my military career up into my older age as a grandfather I’m always going to be a devout fan of this original masters of metal band.. The Trooper
I hope that one day I can say the same. I discovered them while I was in high school, about a decade ago. Ever since they've been my favourite band and they'll probably remain at the top for me the rest of my life.
The only thing we have to fear is a fear of the dark.

The most gentle, kind and humble person I´ve ever had the chance to meet. I´m 34, and I was 13 in 1999, when Bruce came to São Paulo - Brazil, for an Autograph afternoon in a famous Library named "Saraiva Mega Store". I was inside there with my mom waiting for him to come, and there was a wild crowd in the outside, screaming and saying dirty words for us, ´cause we were there much hours before awaiting. Bruce arrived with two bodyguards (Probably brazilian ones), my mom asked him: "Hi Bruce, may I be the first, please?"
And as soon as he noticed there was my mom with me and the people freaking out, he quickly pulled us to a little table prepared for him to sign the CD´s, etc, and then I gave him my little hand-drawn Eddie that I did in a school paper. He had a protective behavior, and this is what makes this man amazing!
He saw my drawings and he said: "Wow, good drawing"!
And I just said: wow, thank you Bruce! (I couldn´t have words... Bruce was in front of me and I couldn´t believe it haha)!
He signed my paper with a golden color pen, shaked my hands, and smiled for me and my mom...
I have his autograph up today, somewhere in my house!
It was unforgettable!
This is one of the reasons I mirror myself to Bruce and the other guys as an aspiring artist/professional musician.
If I get public someday, famous, etc... I hope I can be as amazing as at least half of what Bruce and the guys are, both as amazing persons and professionals.

I’m sick at the moment, but it’s lovely to have a message from Bruce to the Irons and fingers crossed I’ll see you guys on tour next year! It’ll be my second concert (my first being a KISS concert) and I’m proud to call myself a Maiden 😁🤟🏻
You are in for a treat when you see maiden. I saw them live for the first time last year with their Legacy of the Beast tour, and it was such an amazing show. Iron Maiden puts on a good enough show to make you have a great time even if you don’t even like Iron Maiden. Every fan who hasn’t seen them needs to add ‘seeing them live’ to their bucket list.
The final KISS concert was cancelled for me sadly, same with Metallica. But Maiden should be coming back next year gladly.

Ahh Bruce your looking so WELL, and the HAIR!! I've been a very dedicated fan since 1985 when 'Live after Death' came out and I was just 15! I remember getting the live VHS tape at the time
and being blown away, and it so reminds me of you with the hair in 85!! That's 1985 now, not 1885 hah hah!! I am so glad to hear that new music is in the pipeline it is well needed in these times. I have seen Maiden maybe 5 or 6 times live and Maiden are the best metal and live band in the world.. I think a lot of the older fans would love to hear a Powerslave 2!! I realise however that Iron Maiden have matured and wont ever go back to that faster grittier style... But who know's.. Up the Irons!!

I'm 42 years old, I've been a fan ever since I worked at a friend's video store for a summer when I was 9 years old, back in 1986 and by pure chance, there was a copy of Live After Death. I'm a father of 5 year old twins now, a boy and a girl, and if there is one dream I have, is to one day go to an Iron Maiden concert together. Love you guys and thank you so much for being such a fantastic part of my life for the last 34 years!
Greatest band ever!!!!!! Iron Maiden is the only band that has never let me down ever. I love everything that they have done. There is a huge reason why Iron Maiden is one of the biggest bands in the world. I saw them last year and it was the best show out of all the Iron Maiden shows I have been to. I was actually expecting Iron Maiden to be working on a new studio album since no one can properly tour these past six months. That is what I would be doing if I was in a band. They can take their time and write the best album they possibly can. I also never thought that we would see Bruce Dickinson with really long hair ever again. I hope that he never cuts it short again because he looks so cool with long hair. I am glad that the whole Iron Maiden camp is doing well, and I am really looking forward to whatever it is that is coming from them. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!!!
