You mentioned JENGA a few times when making a fire..i make my camp fires like Jenga stacking wood criss cross rather than trying to lean them up against eachother, found it soooo easy with a fire starter in the middle. Worked soo well for me and im a total newbie lol

I loved the camp Adam, and you made me giggle with your fire starting skill 😂 along with the cooking, but the steak did look nice. This was something different and I did enjoy it taking the e bike out, and the lovely woods and pod you stayed in, and the video of you and your wife was really nice to watch aswell, a great team. I look forward to many more camps like this, now the better weather is here. Take care xx

Looks great mate... I said to my Thai wife that we would enjoy that for a few nights and she said "where's the toilets" coming from a girl that shat in a snake pit in Phissanulok. She now prefers 2 months in LK Metropole in Pattaya, I reluctantly agreed.😆
Cycleways are designed for normal normal light bikes, you can wheelie through the gates that's the problem with E bikes, just too heavy to lift etc, I'll stick with my single speed... Light as a feather and keeps me fit 👍

Mate not so long ago, I cycled to carsington water, then down the tisington trail, on a human powered bike, we left early in the morning, and got bake home at 2am, 128 mile round trip from Tamworth, you know you have cyled when you have done that...OH did I mention I had a bike trailer in tow too.
oh ma dayz 128 miles, phew, i remeber doing a mad one not quite that big as a kid with my m8 went for hours and miles was so tired for the next few days :)
Imagine a beautiful summers day and your out with you kids for an adventure and you hit that gateway system and you have to turn back because you you use a wheelchair.
Great video loved seeing the bike again on a misadventure with you. The Campsite looked really good cooking on an open fire in the middle of the woods what a great way to chill out. The bike did you proud with all the weight of the backpack and doing nearly 40 miles.

There's nothing like the pain of trying to cycle an e-bike without any power, thankfully I've only ever had to do it by choice just to see how far I could go (spoiler alert, not that far)..Really wish they'd build in recharging when going down hills etc, just to get as much as possible out of a cycle..
insane how much hard work it is without the power and yeh im totally with u, some form of kinetic charging needs to be added

Stayed at Fire and Stars myself, the pod and Camper Van pitches weren't there when i stayed, great campsite to stay at 👏

Awesome! We stayed at fire and stars back in August last year in the camper van pitch with the roof tent! Super good place. Hopefully the new toilet block is in the works now. Also stayed in a similar place in Norfolk recently. These types of places are cropping up all over the place and it’s just incredible.

There are people who cycle across continent/country and on normal bicycle with out any E bits, i would say sadly e bikes wont be much help if you want to wild camp most of the way there. I may try it out and so far im riding muscle powered one only as i need to get in shape for trips.
Plus if would love to get camper van build so it can keep bicycle in with me so it still looks like a plain van on the outside for the stealth.
But will i get my mentality for going out there time will tell, slowly forward with small steps.

Thanks so much, i was pretty chuffed with the bike footage tbf, was expecting it all to be shaking and looking at the sky and such but got lucky i think some good angles and shots and the sound turned out pretty good :) ... spoiler it was kind of a test for something completely stupid possibly coming soon 😉
theres similar at beehive bushcraft 10 mins away near conkers :) i just posted my experience with my lad there ha :) might have to give this place a try with the kids in summer

Hi mate the best way to get through them motor bike restrictions ( no sure about electric) is to apply the rear brake pull the bike backwards on to the rear wheel and push the bike through on rear wheel that's how I get through them, they are a pain, what a cracking camping area, great find Adam.
yeh dont that a couple of times with other bikes, its a struggle with an ebike but about doable
Hi mate,new to your channel and have been binging your content since then 😅 great approach and different from the other car campers etc,also with the bike just flip it onto it's back wheel and tilt the handlebars as you go through its easy 👍🏼

The forest school is great, I love anything that teaches kids about having fun and adventures outdoors with nature, catch 'em while they're young and hopefully they'll take it into adulthood and enjoy their own misadventures .... btw I would have thought you'd be more bothered by a sore a**e than tired legs 🤣

That looks like a great campsite. The pod was a good find. Got to be better than an IDLA tent. Like how they have a forest school there. Brilliant idea. Just wondering how you did the last couple of miles. Was it powerless pedalling or was it a call to Old Man Grumpster?😂😂😂

When you think your steak is rare because you see "blood" then don't worry because it isn't blood at all. If you google it, it tells you exactly what those juices are and it isn't blood.
Canny video mate , liked that bike , u said you did 35 miles on it before it died , do you know yer Elevation on it? I'm after an ebike which can guarantee me around that distance , I live a few miles from the coast and fancy a few ebike rides down there , health issue won't allow me to use normal bike much now , that campsite was mint , hopefully something like that around here(tyne and wear)
not too sure buddy but there were quite a few hills here and there i had it most on level 2 on the electric so just enough to power it without too much effort from me, hope that helps 😀

The camera mount clamp issue could be fixed by inserting rubber on under the clamp
think id done that with the phone mount, will have to do it with this also not sure the bars are quite thick enough for the clamp
