There is no best timing, it is always different depending on how the motor is setup. The star cut helps the shifting when you make a little more HP than stock.

Wow few kicks it starts this guy is good . I see banshee rebuilds some take 10 or more kicks first start after rebuild
Sometime a couple, sometimes not. It really depends how much assembly lube and oil got caught up in the cylinders and case valley.
And i use a copper head gasket spray on the head gasket not cylacone

I have never run them on my personal stuff. They are too much money for me.
Never use that orange silicone, use Yamabond or Moto seal, i personally use threebond 1184
I have been using it for 25 years now and haven’t had any bad effects from it.
