It's so crazy that so many of the fugitives that were on this show, not only were caught, but actually completed their sentences and are out there free now.
Damn, I’ve never really thought about that. This show is so old, I remember watching it in the 80’s even though it would scare the hell out of me. This show did help put a lot of fugitives away back in the day and now, a lot of them are out living normal lives among us. Some could be right next door to you or me.
Mike Emert had been killed by Gary Kruger (an ex Seattle cop with a violent reputation). Kruger was also believed to be involved in the killings of Mario Vaccarino, Terry Dolan, and James Barry. In 2010 Kruger drowned after a rowboat (he used to make his getaway) sunk after he and a few other accomplices attempted to break into the home of Dr. Craig MCcalister. The case is still far from over. Gary Kruger had a reason for picking Gail Garland’s house because of its isolation. If Kruger had another victim on his hit list, then killing Mike was to test out the area.
In reality it was a bad place to do a murder. The homeowner came home for lunch and found the body very soon after the murder. The killer probably knew the owner had not moved out yet. @Content Corrector I'm pro choice. We all have this fantastic idea that life is beautiful and the world is sane. This world is dangerous and destructive, this world is not safe for kids and I rather you take the decision to get an abortion than to bring a kid you don't want, that will more than likely be abused or put into foster care. I rather focus my attention to those kids. Abortion should be legal for anyone that wants it, in that way we control illegal abortions, organ trafficking and accidental deaths. Life is not a peach or sweet pie, life is a field of roses and roses have thorns. Procreation shouldn't be a right, it should be something you earn.
@Content Corrector Two issues related to the issue of abortion: A) If the government can decide what an individual chooses to do with his/her body, then where would it stop? Organ donation? Tattoos?? If people are going to do something whether or not it's illegal, then the best thing is to legalize it to make sure it is done safely. Otherwise we're back in the 1950s when women were dying on their kitchen tables.

I have some of my grandmother's memories. They were not remarkable except that they are hers. They would probably seem mundane, but I see them as I am looking out her eyes, thinking about a new hat with flowers I have on that goes with my dress (yellow flowers), wondering if my grandfather-to-be liked the way I looked, finding it hard to draw him into conversation, sitting in the back seat of a Model A or T. Stopping to visit at a log cabin where the front porch was just loose wooden stairs. Lots of other details and feeling the relaxed enjoyable afternoon. The sun was shining. Memories can in the rarest of cases be passed on. It's kind of nice when they are happy ones.

Poor Holly she was such a beautiful young women that Boyfriend ended up killing that poor girl I wonder if she was really in Ohio ever or she thought she was because maybe she seen an Ohio tag on a car where ever that creep had her. And the boyfriend passed a polygraph are the police the only ones that dont know polygraphs are not always correct that is why you can not use them in court.
The call from Ohio was proven to be a crank call from some pile of crap playing a joke. Besides knowing what has been reported on here, I don't know for certain whether she was ever in Ohio, but I strongly doubt it. In all honesty, I don't think Holly ever made it out of the San Diego area.
You went and put. Alot of words down in the comments for nothing...your answer to the question was in the show. Js, and the prankster was a teenage girl, she didn't even make a complete sentence or even attempt...really obvious a prankster. Like So many teenagers and adults with no life, but I read on here that they did trace her down.
@@monaa.9729 - she’s a fraud like all the rest. Holly’s body was found in 1996, but her dental records weren’t matched until years later. I think in 2001 or 2006. She was never in Ohio.
I had an amazing vocabulary at 2. And I had past life memories of things that couldn't possibly be explained otherwise. Perhaps we get the ability to speak in a more adult-like way due to the past life. Just because you haven't experienced it yourself doesn't mean its not possible. Most of us have never walked on the moon, but we believe it happened. At 2 I was speaking of being 27 when I died, wearing eye shadow, driving a convertible, and becoming a baby to start life all over and knew words that my 5 yr old sister couldn't even pronounce . We lived in the rural mountains, had no TV, few neighbors, did not attend movies and were extremely religious. Where would I get these ideas? It freaked my parents out and I think they were a little afraid of me. I was not allowed to tell others about my PL memories. But I recall them vividly to this day.
@@sierradanielleAK yes I've tried to research the many details I remembered. I knew that I died in the convertible, I have looked at so many old convertible cars it wd make your head spin. I've looked at death records. I knew my PL name at one time but its true that some things fade with age. Now I can only remember saying those things. But I recall being certain about the details when I was young. It didn't help that I was shushed so much. It shocked me that nobody else knew they had started over as a baby, I thought everyone had that knowledge. I would very much like to be hypnotized. One thing for sure, I am terrified of convertibles. My husband drove one for years and I never even sat in it. The best thing I got from the experience is that I could sing a French Christmas song. I didnt know what the words meant until I reluctantly sang it for a French Canadian coworker who was amazed at the perfection of the pronunciation and ability to sing it in the right tune. Again, where wd I learn a French Christmas song, but I've been singing it my entire life. I sing it whenever I'm nervous for some reason. Thank you for your interest. Its nice to discuss it with an open minded person. I know what I know, and the innocence of a two year old cannot be questioned. When you are that young you are nether good nor bad, you are simply innocent. Again, thank you. Of I ever get the hypnosis I will come back to this comment section and fill you in.
Good episode. The ppl who disappear are the most heartbreaking cases covered IMO. I can’t imagine. What’s up with realtors being murdered during house showings? Mike’s case is similar to the unsolved Lindsay Busciak case in Canada. Very sad.
I started thinking lately how easier was for pranksters to crank call victims and get their thrill back then because there was no way anyone would catch them. Try that in these modern times. You'll get caught in 5 minutes.
Even then it was possible to get caught. Once the FBI got involved with this case they had the call traced within a few days, and this was months after the call. And even more incredibly, even though the call was made from a payphone in Canada, they found the girls that made the call based on library surveillance footage and digital records of everyone that checked out books that day.
"Two years later, with Holly still unaccounted for, the police took a closer look at her abusive boyfriends criminal past." Woh woh woh, don't give us whiplash, no one can live at that speed!!!! 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒

I knew the instant I saw the picture he’d come up with for the descriptions of the so-called killers. He basically drew bad guys from comics or cartoons.
In 1999 my dads mom passed away before I was born in 2000 and and over the years people will stare at me and they will say she looks just like her dad‘s mother. Because I look like her and I have a laugh like hers and i feel like my grandmothers spirit is inside me.
I obviously don’t believe in reincarnation, but it reminds me of what I think is the funniest movie cliche that always cracks me up: Someone’s ancestor from a hundred years ago is just the same actor with a mustache.
Absolutely crazy the 2nd takes place in La Mesa CA. I am acutely familiar with La Mesa. I grew up in Santee, a city relatively close to La Mesa. By 2002, I became a little familiar with La Mesa as much as I knew Santee and I knew El Cajon as well. But in 1995 I was only 11.
People do the most pointless dumb shit all the time. I had an old man follow me around every day for 6 months telling me that I could tell him anything. He'd show up at Starbucks outta nowhere when I was with my ex. Then he randomly blabbed all my shit to everyone for no reason. I have too many other stories like this. Watch people very closely and be careful...
there is another explanation to children having their grand parents memories rather then reincarnation which makes more sense. Their grand parents spirit has re enacted with the child to tell their story but the child's soul certainly isn't the grand parent's.
Some of these damn people get sentences that fit and others do not. Little Kyle, did not get justice! His mother has no remorse at all! She should not be out of prison. Woo took the Howard's way out.
If Woo were to be sent to prison, the taxpayers would be footing the bill for his needs. He finally did the right thing by taking his own life and sparing us his existence on the dole. Why should we financially support a criminal or murderer?
The episodes that Film Rise has on CZcams as "Season 10" were originally on CBS as a 2 season, 12 episode run before the show got picked up for Lifetime for the last 2 seasons. Some of those episodes were co hosted by Virginia Madsen in an attempt to attract a larger female audience. When the episodes were being prepared for syndication by Lifetime they had Robert Stack overdub her parts. That was just before his death. The final season's episodes were recorded around a year or two before his death so the dub on those is actually newer.
If suspicions were that a couple had murdered their newborn baby ... after her male partner had fleed police ... oh i dunno, post a guard on her? It's so angering when courts allow suspects to skip town on bail, but there's also an abundance of cases of where if police had kept tabs on people things wouldn't have escalated.

Something about Robert Stack's voice just makes this show even greater after all these years...

Like
So many teenagers and adults with no life, but I read on here that they did trace her down.
which is strange because the "psychic" named the hospital in ohio
@@monaa.9729 - she’s a fraud like all the rest. Holly’s body was found in 1996, but her dental records weren’t matched until years later. I think in 2001 or 2006. She was never in Ohio.
Since when do 1.5 year old kids say “when you were little, I used to change your diapers”?
😂🤣🤣 I was thinking the same mf thing. the most I could get out was mama or dada
R Browning That’s fascinating. I’ve always believed in past life possibilities. Have you tried to research who it might be?
@@sierradanielleAK The name of the song is La Devine Enfant, which i now know is The Devine Baby. 🙂

Notice in the emret case when he got the award some other realtor stormed off. Leads me to believe the theory that Mr Krugman was hired.
Maybe I missed it but why did the cop kill that real estate guy ?
Hollie showed such promise, sad...
psychics can do a lot of damage and mostly bad
I think he killed him for fun.
They never said why he killed him which is really disturbing 😥😥
It seems he did it because he was a serial killer since they mention he was connected to at least two more killings.
Probably a hitmen
Apparently he was a serial killer like someone else said and he died before they could question him🤷🏽♀️

The freaking psychic made the phone call pretending to be Holly..
So Holly didnt try to communicate with the local psychic until the newspaper ran the story. 🙄

So evil of her to do that!

Good episode. The ppl who disappear are the most heartbreaking cases covered IMO. I can’t imagine.
What’s up with realtors being murdered during house showings? Mike’s case is similar to the unsolved Lindsay Busciak case in Canada. Very sad.

Who’s on a unsolve mysteries bender due to the Coronavirus?

I believe that should be classified as a criminal case rather than Sci-Med. Covid 19 was no accident.
If unsolved mysteries comes back they should do a story of " were globalists in our governments behind covid?"

How on earth does it make sense that murderers are released from prison. It should be life sentence with no possibility of parole!
People who do that (prank call) are sick
That's so cruel 😭

Did Mike's death have something to do with the house or something in it? Also how convenient the only suspect drowned .

I can because I’m already 51! Born in 1970, time flies.
My man never breaks character lol
2:50 think we have our suspect in the Mike Emert case!
Why would a corrupt cop want to murder Mike?
People do the most pointless dumb shit all the time. I had an old man follow me around every day for 6 months telling me that I could tell him anything. He'd show up at Starbucks outta nowhere when I was with my ex. Then he randomly blabbed all my shit to everyone for no reason. I have too many other stories like this. Watch people very closely and be careful...
there is another explanation to children having their grand parents memories rather then reincarnation which makes more sense. Their grand parents spirit has re enacted with the child to tell their story but the child's soul certainly isn't the grand parent's.
2021 & still watching this!❣️
Some of these damn people get sentences that fit and others do not.
That's why we don't do drugs, folks!
Bob sounds like he did when he began Unsolved Mysteries in this episode, he must have been in better health his last year.
Wow, that makes a lot of sense now. RIP Robert Stack

I reckon the wife had him killed so she could no longer be under his control.
I will never understand why Ppl do this to babies! Just just give the baby to someone who will love and care for them!
