@grace Monroe home Thanks for this! I just made my first flower. I love it.
That’s wonderful!! ❤️
I don't have floral wire, BUT I do have about 200 trash bag twist ties...
My heart said 💝when you said this is your mom :-)
I love these! Thank you! Is there any way to keep them from fraying?
I think I'm going to make these a lot smaller. Maybe make the base 4X9, then 3X9, 2.5X9 the last 2X9.

Very cute. Thank you so much for sharing!
The ones you two are wearing look like you glued the edges to keep them from fraying, which I like better.
I'm also a sewer and instead of glue, I believe I'll stitch them together.
I just made one of these. It is gorgeous. But you addressed a concern that I was actually going to ask them about. My frays were so bad. I am new to crafting and not a seamstress...how do I stop the fraying. I burned the edges and it still frayed. I used cotton fabric and satin. Any advice?
@@katrinaevans7588 in the sewing department there is a product that you can put on fabric to stop fraying. It's like glue only not as thick.
The person working there can help you find it.
Or you could use an iron on basting material. You would iron this into the back of your material. It comes in different weights and usually on the same type of roll as fabric.
@@Dem4ever63 great!!!! Thank you!!!! Cant wait to try again and practice making another one!

Hey! Thank you so much for watching! We use cotton and have not had a ton of fraying. We have been wearing the same ones on our aprons for over a year and occasionally there will be a little fraying and we just trim it when there is, but it hasn’t been bad.
@@GraceMonroeHome ok. I purchased the fabric from Walmart so maybe that explains some of the fraying. I will look for a better quality fabric. Thank you!
