OMG Dierker! Love that guy, he always had a smile and warm embrace for me, miss seeing all the faces of my friends and colleagues. Kindred spirits! What draws us to the Canyon, keeps us there, in our minds and spirits? The sound of the Raven, the ring of a hiking stick on the trail, rocks tumbling down the creek. I am almost 70 and have been in the Canyon since 1972. I got to help build the trail crew bunk house at (Indian) Supai Garden half a life time ago. Love the place and always will.
Did the Grad Canyon with Brian in 1974 and it changed my life. Thanks Brian and Dick.
Not sure what brought me here, I don’t know this fella nor the name. I researched a bit before commenting so I know who he is a bit better now. I’m glad a watched this. What a character. Going on my first private GC trip next June, maybe that’s why this came up.
Brian seems so down to earth...
