Thank you, very helpful video. What a shame that, including replacing this valve, in 7 years of ownership I have now spent nearly 80% of the original cost of my Samsung washer in repairs. Includes a failed main board and several fixes of the undersized wiring to the drain pump. Not to mention the inconvenience to our household and the concern caused by finding water leaking through the first floor into the basement for this latest problem.

How would i know it is the inlet valve it needs to be replaced? Alexandra.
What would cause these to break? Im guessing my is cracked because when I shut off the hot water the drops under the back plastic panel and where the metal panel meet stop. Glad I found your video it looks so simple to replace

If One of the solenoids is bad can you change that solenoid on the water inlet valve?
Wouldn't you leave the back cover off then test it to check for water leaks?
What if we have that fifth solenoid? I ordered this part but noticed it only comes with four and we have five. Is it a different part?

If the threads are stripped, is the solution to epoxy mini shut-off valves or fittings onto the threads, or replace the whole valve.
I ask bc the threads on my washer's inlet valve are stripped

Samsung washer is constantly dripping and only cold water dispensing in drum, would it be the water valve? I checked and nothing Is clogged..

Great video, the problem here is your site wants 142 bucks for the part, I just bought it on Amazon for 32 bucks. Your price is a complete rip off. Why so much for the same part??
