In the 1960s my uncle ran a mixed farm (arable and livestock) in Kent, inEngland. Sometimes odd cars would turn up parked, seemingly abandoned, on his farm. He dealt with them like this. One appeared in front of a recessed gate to a field full of sheep. After two days it was still there, so he moved the actual gate further down the fence line, but covered the car with a tarpaulin and piled about two hundred tires all over it, so it looked like a silage clamp, (silage is cut grass sealed under tarpaulin and sealed in with tires, so it ferments and is fed to livestock in winter). Hidden in plain sight. Another one that was awkwardly left obstructing another gate, he moved the gate again, but erected an old shed over the car, having first covered it with old blankets. Then he surrounded it with old bales of barb wire, bits of old lumber and some old rusting bits of ancient farm machinery. The police visited once and asked if he had seen any odd cars around, but he feigned ignorance and three years later scrapped both motors making a tidy sum with the scrap man. He retired from and sold the farm in 2000. No proof, but a great tale. Hes dead now alas, lovely man, many many tales and a great laugh. Use this if you want.

I once lived in a quiet neighborhood and found a Ford Expedition that I didn't recognize parked in my driveway. The neighbors on either side of me weren't home, so I hooked up a tow strap, put my truck in 4WD and pulled it out into the street. Another time I came home on Christmas Day and found a car blocking my driveway. I backed up my truck and was getting ready to hook up my tow strap when a visitor from across the street came running out and moved it. Park in my driveway, or block it, and I don't mess around. I resolve the issue myself in a few minutes.

@@lewie7820 And how long will that take? I solved my problem in a few minutes and never had a problem with that person again. Same with the second incident. That one was on Christmas Day. I didn't even have to hook up before the owner moved it. When I come home from a long day at work I'm in no mood to wait hours for a tow truck.

In the United States, it is perfectly legal to park anywhere you want on the street you live, as long as you don't block driveways. People taking "Revenge" on them, get fined and arrested.
Can't you call cops to tow the car off your private property or public walking space?

You don’t have a right to park in front of our house if you have a perfectly empty driveway/garage. A neighbor insisted in doing this only because our very large maple tree was shading that part of the street and it was the middle of Summer here in the house. Yes, it’s not a law about parking in front of someone else’s house, it just something we were taught as not being very nice - how about being polite people! Seems like a lost cause!!!!
The only “revenge” I took was to park my car in that place on the street under our tree (instead of in our garage!!!) several times. Worked perfectly!

The guy with the postit stickers all over his car is asking for the police to issue for dangerous driving due to his lack of view.

@@franco7928 I enforce all offences I come across, but it is hard to feel good about issuing the notice when you can see that someone is already in financial hardship, has kids to feed and is in a desperate position where they need their vehicle to get to work just to get by. There is no sympathy for the Lamborghini driver who thinks the can park somewhere that disrupts the flow of traffic and doesn't give a damn about the fine, it's just an inconvenience, or the Aston Martin driver who can't be bothered to get registration or a vehicle inspection, and believes they are too important to be dealing with some pleb from the council.
So not jealous, but definitely get some joy out of issuing to those that think the rules shouldn't apply to them.

@@anonimous2451 The white car was overlapping the driveway, but not the black car that they boxed in. In fact, they had to block a drive way to punish the guy for parking legally on the street. He could call the cops to tow the white car that had blocked him in.

When I was in college a friend of mine shared a house with a few roommates, and they had very limited parking in the back. Like one for each car. This being a college neighborhood, finding parking on the street was always a problem, so having off-street parking was a huge perk at the time. One neighbor nearby kept stealing their spot, forcing my friend or one of the roommates to find parking on the street, sometimes several blocks away. So they finally had enough, got one of those plastic 5 gallon buckets, and in a scheme that only college students would think of, made that the communal toilet until it was filled up. For days, 4 guys pissed and shat in that same bucket, keeping the lid on when not in use. When that bucket of piss and shit was filled near to the rim, they jimmied the guy's car door open and dumped it ALL out in the back seat. The car had disappeared the next morning and never returned.

I frequently see one that belongs on this list: A farmer had an empty field across from his produce stand and customers would often park in the field, despite many signs. He had plenty of parking on the stand side, but people parked in the field anyway. One day he wanted to plow the field but it was full of cars. So, he plowed all around the perimeter, surrounding the cars with freshly-tilled earth. When the owners tried to leave, they got stuck in the tilled ground. They called the police, who came out, saw the signs, read the string of complaints the farmer had left in the past, shrugged and told the people to call tow trucks.
It may be different in other countries but from my understanding when you buy a house, you don't own the street parking outside it.

In the USA, public streets are public so yes someone can park in front of your house. But not block the driveway or fire hydrant type thing.

Patrons to a yuppie restaurant used to park in my driveway -- I used to put a plastic bag over my hand and rub my dog's crap under each of their door handles - so the first they'd know of it was as they grasped the handle... and then had to try to find somewhere to wash their hand... then I'd rub the rest into their front grill so they could smell it all the way home and until they discovered its origin and got it power washed out.

The person blocking someone in because they parked outside their house needs a lesson in manners, when you buy the house you only purchase the house and garden, not the road outside the house, you’ve got a driveway use it, my car has a tow bar and I’m afraid the front bumper would be in a bit of a state after I’d reversed but I’d have got the police first and said they wouldn’t let me out , totally different if they block the driveway so you can’t get into your own drive

I don’t know how it is in the rest of the USA or world, but in California the all streets are public and you can park in front of someone’s house, as long as you don’t block any part of the driveway. Also from the edge of the street (curb) for 6 feet towards the house belongs to the city right of way.

@@anonimous2451 nowhere in america does a private citizen own a public roadway. if a car isn't blocking a driveway, it can be parked near your house, or even directly in front of your house. as long as the curb isnt red, and no fire hydrant. blocking someone in for parking on a public road is a good way to start a neighbor war. if that was my neighborhood they would have many many cars parking in that spot for the rest of time. i would be petty enough to take my shit out of my garage and park it there just because i know he doesn't like it.

One night he is running a bit on the heavier side and works the controls so the train does not stop in time. I think you can fill in the rest. The is one of my favorite Reddit stories.

I'm touchy about my parking spot as well. There's a sign stating [ reserved, you will get towed.] Well, I have them towed. Then they get mad at me. Big deal. No parking means no parking. People want to do whatever they want, but if you do the same thing to them they get pissed. I'm not a fan of people to start with, so don't F with me I won't F with them.

Unless you have a designated spot in front of your house, it doesn't matter if it's in front of someone someone else's spot with or without "permission". If it is their private property is a totally different situation, but if it's street side it's up for grabs unless it's legally different in your area.
Second thing, that Nissan truck did what was right. It's never OK to block someone in like that. I keep a thurmite can for just such occasions. Place it on the hood light it and let it melt through the engine block.....

5:00 I've seen this clip a few times. If that guy were smart, he would have seen that crowd and his car on his way back and then taken a quick walk to the nearest pharmacy. He could buy himself some crutches or a walker and maybe a head bandage. Maybe he could even borrow a wheelchair or something like that. And then come back looking like a he really needed that spot, but simply didn't have the tags because it isn't a long term disability. Maybe make half his body drag like a stroke victim and use a walker. The crowd would have been shamed for judging a stranger and they would have had to help him remove all the paper and then load his wheelchair or walker or whatever aid he could find into the car. Then he could have driven away laughing.

I was delivering building supplies and the inspector parked his pickup blocking the driveway and I was on a 12000 lb forklift thought about putting the truck on the roof but I just picked it up and moved it out of the way.
Good thing you did not cause damage or any visible damage because it would have been on you and not him/her/they.

The Miata might have been parked properly, or at least improperly through no fault of the driver. If the parking lot was covered in snow when the car was parked there, and then the snow melted (it lot is visibly wet), it's not the owner's fault that the lines were not visible.

I'm English and over 20 years ago I was arrested for someone parking there car in my drive he parked behind my partner's car that was in the garage with the door open I came home from work parked my car behind the Pratt's car and when he knocked on the door I went mad and punched him and he landed on the bonnet of the car with a burst nose with his mum shouting call the police to which my neighbour who witnessed told her to F--k off as he would have done the same, day after police came and arrested me .
I work in parking g compliance and if my employer receives a complaint about a vehicle obstructing a vehicle entrance we engage a tow truck to remove the vehicle. When we do this every effort is made not to damage the vehicle.
The clip 2.30 in, imo the driver of the black vehicle has the right to park on the street even in front of someone else's property, the street is a public place and the property line will end at or even before the footpath. At the same time (certainly here in New Zealand) there is no offence for parking bumper to bumper. That being said, (again in NZ), it is an offence to park within a meter of a usable vehicle entrance, and the vehicle on the right would be causing an offence. I have in such circumstances removed the vehicle that is obstructing the vehicle entrance at that drivers expense and in thus doing enable the trapped vehicle to be moved.

Some people do that for their own benefits.
Here in the US if you use that tow truck and you damage the vehicle then the cost of the damage is on you, not the driver.

That's exactly what thinking they're above the laws looks like cause people don't care about blocking people's driveways and whatnot. They also think that they're better than anybody or they'd have a tiny bit of respect for other people's parking area's, but instead they don't, and look what they got in return lol 😂...I also grew up around railways and trust me, those guys operating those trains, they don't care about running people's cars over and if you're caught walking on the railroad tracks they don't care to stop and get onto people for doing it cause 20 years ago the guys that work for the railways to make sure the track is safe for the trains, I thought theys going to kick my butt for just walking on the track cause it's hard to hear a train when a busy road is beside the tracks cause you can't hear a train coming up behind ya and that's why they were so hard on me... I've never, and will ever, walk the track again lol...It was 1 of those 10hr nonstop work days and I didn't feel like getn a whippin to add to how tired I was just trying to get home lmao
