The Elves learn about the news of the rise of the orcs so they decide to take action. Their leader goes by the name of Sirtimid. During his childhood, he was training with the sword and arrow for hours because he wanted to be a warrior like his grandfather, Ninthalor, who fought in the great battle at the first age. He is a very experienced elf that helped Thranduil of Mirkwood and Galadriel of Lórien to siege dol guldur, while some myths say that he also took part at the war of the last alliance. He is known for his smartness, his fight skills, his communication skills and most importantly, his inspiration to the other elves

Indeed the elves left. Perhaps the few that stayed behind did assemble to help Men to defend against this new threat... yet one can doubt they numbers would be enough.
The dwarves ? They mostly kept to themselves and their treasures. If the mighty Sauron couldn't push them to act, would they take the threat seriously ?
But Gondor might have an unexpected ally... if the news of the kingdom's distress came to the ears of the Hobbits of the Shire, a somewhat forgotten people, but brave in time of needs !

As word spreads across the lands of the new goblin threat and their subsequent defeat, the sleeping giant that is Gondor starts to awaken it's military might. However since the kingdom of Arnor normally lies far away from any danger it is still under grave threat as it will take a long time for Gondor to muster and march it's might to the misty mountains.
The goblins retreat back into the mountains to lick their wounds. Not content to sit and wait they set their eyes on a weaker foe: the remaining dwarves of khazad dum (moria). The dwarves in the fourth age were declining, but their power was not yet spent. Can they fight off the goblin threat? Or wil the pride of the dwarven race fall into darkness once more.

The word of the attack reaches the Capital when the great gondorian military commander ( name you decide ) ( whose father fought in the battle of the rings ) decided to accept the duty of leading the great attack. The attack to honour his family to honour his fallen father.
This time a large army of gondorians attacked swiftly into the territory of steadily increasing army of Ayagi. Won a few small battles at first but when he finally met the main army of Ayagi whose force had nearly doubled since the last attack were ready.
The gondorian general and Ayagi looked at each other from afar knowing that only one could survive shouted Chaaaaaaaaarge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Within a few seconds both armies clashed whose sound went far away giving a message to the gondorians and orcs that their brothers were fighting, fighting for what could eventually lead to the resurrection of orcs and the fall of gondorian empire or the final blow and defeat from Gondor to the orcs after which the orcs might be gone for good.

As the Silverhouse family wanted to keep their keep their reputation, they agreed to claim him as their real son and not to tell anyone about the lover. She was secretly murdered by the father, Raud Silverhouse. His parents told him the truth and said that if he did not make them proud, they would kick him out of the family. He did all he could to impress them but this amount of constant pressure from young age made him a little bit crazy. The boy actually once threatened his slave mentor with her life if she did not tell the boy's parents that he was doing excellent and behaved like a noble man already. When he became a man and had proven himself worthy of the Silverhouse family, and the words of the goblins reached the capital, the family urged him to take part in the war and joined the ranks as a rich officer in the Gondorian army. In the skirmishes that occured on their way to liberate the "bordertowns" as they are commonly referred to, the Gondorian general died in an ambush laid by a goblin raiding party. In the heated debate between the commanders that followed the death of the general, the young Silverhouse officer had proven himself worthy of the title general, after he time after time was seen as the first man to storm the enemy with his glittering greatsword hacking through goblins like a madman. Now is his time to prove that he can succeed in the Gondorian army, or will he fail the great realm of Gondor?

(A bit of a long one)
    pt. 1.
The Argerg was lost, and Captain Adan was dead, or at least, he should have been. After he had fled from the battle, after he had left his men to die, he didn't know how he could carry on, he should have died with his men, but he didn't.
    The Mustering of the Rohirrim
As Adan rode, he could still hear the sound of the Troll's drums, thundering in triumph. A sense of dread filled him as he could only wonder if the drums were getting closer. Adan rode for a long time, trying desperately to escape the drums that didn't seem to ever stop, they were always there. He couldn't tell how long he had rode on when he heard thundering, but not of drums, of hooves. Adan looked up, and saw a large company of Rohirrim riders, a patrol force. Adan's reaction was to try and get help, but as he started to approach, his thought turned to the punishment for desertion, and he nearly turned away. It was only the memory of his men, dying on the field, and the Gondorian towns that were close which undoubtedly would be under threat of the same fate that his men received, that pushed him to the Rohirrim.
He told the Rohirrim his tale, how his men died, and the danger that they were in. At first, they condemned him for fleeing, but then they understood the danger that the Goblins posed to the area. Adan convinced the Rohirrim to gather with other patrols that went around the land, and attempt a strike at the Goblin force.
As the Rohirrim were gathering their forces, they intercepted a messenger from a nearby town, he told them that they were about to be attacked by a Goblin army, and Adan knew there was no time to loose. As the Rohirrim mustered together, they made their way towards the town, telling the messenger to continue on to alert Gondor and Rohan.
Adan rode with the Rohirrim, and he never had felt so free. He had always been superior than his peers when it came to riding on horse back, but even with all of his training, he knew that he was in the presence of true Horse Masters, and he loved every second of it. Although he still stuck out among the Rohirrim, a silver rider in the midst of an ocean of green, he felt more at home than he had in all of his time in the Gondor Army.
Adan rode to avenge his men, he rode to show his worth, and he rode to save others from the same fate that fell upon his men.
pt. 2 is a reply to this comment

    • @micahquiton7731
      @micahquiton7731 Před 3 lety +6

As Adan rode to battle, he felt a fire burning within him, one that he never had felt before, and it drove him to victory.
As he rode with the Rohirrim, he charged and fought against the Goblins with a rage that made even the mighty trolls tremble. He rode into suicidal fights with the hope of breaking the Goblin horde, he fought hard, and victory was won. He looked around instinctively for his men, but he didn't see them. He looked down in shame, as he did, he saw a child, running to embrace her mother. He looked around again, and he saw crying as loved ones saw found each other, he saw crying as comrades greeting each other, and all of a sudden, he felt a weight lifted from him. He had not failed, his men had not failed, they had not died in vain, he could only feel joy.
But a realization stemmed these feelings, the Goblins could come back, they would undoubtedly regather, and they would attack again. This was not over, and he would not stop until it was. He knew, without a doubt, that whatever cam next, he would be there to stand against it, and these men, these Rohirrim, would stand with him. No matter what comes next.

After Ayagi's defeat, the goblin army was scaterred and the Misty Mountains are defensless. Although many gondorians and rohirium died, Gondor was now on the offensive!
A brave gondorian general, Kilbich who was just a young solider at the battle of Osgiliath and lost his family in a siege from a young age, grew up dreaming of becoming a brave and famed general just like Aragorn. Thanks to his rich uncle, he entered the military school and rose up through the ranks quickly as he was a skilled tactician and swordsman. After hearing of the brave defense of the joint gondorian and rohirium troops and after being granted permission from the king, Kilbich decided to put an end, once it for all, to the orc hordes and let the generations that come dream to a peaceful middle earth. After licking their wounds, both rohan and gondor, and a small contingent of elite elven troops that couldn't reach the prior battle, came to help gondor in their final joint attack against the forces of darkness. So they march in the cold mountains, with eagerness and reborn hope, but they don't hear the goblin drumms or the shouts of orcs. That day was foggy and just when they thought that there are no goblins left in front of them, a huge army appears, but not of goblins, but of orcs, harad and rhun troops which united to destroy gondor, under the command... of a nazgul. Yes, it looks like the massive army is led by a nazgul, Khamul the Easterling, the last nazgul who somehow survived after the destruction of the ring, and now wishes to bring Mordor back to its full might. For years he carefully planed his campaign against the west, recruiting scattered orcs and goblins and creating alliances with other pro Mordor factions . Now Kilbich understands that the goblin army was nothing more than a scouting army ment to weaken the enemy, that got to lucky and attacked together with some elite orc units sent by Khamul, and that the real opponent was in front of him. He braces his men just like Aragorn fifteen years ago, and prepares for the biggest clash after the fall of Mordor.
Men and elves stand together again to fight the evil. Let the battle of the Misty Mountains begin!!!
    P. S also the easterlings are eager to take vengeance after the their defeat at the hands of gondor at the dorwinium plains.
    Hope you like it Apollo!!!

The time for slaughter had come, and Ogloth The Goblin Chieftain was burning with anticipation.
Ever since he had heard the thunderous drums of the Trolls after the victory of Argerg, he could not resist leading his clan to the battlefield to see the carnage, and to join the army. They marched to the nearest city of men to slaughter them.
As the battle began, the general promised Ogloth that his goblins would see a fight before the end of the day. Ogloth waited as he watched hordes of soldiers march into the city, and as soon as he could smell blood, he felt the urge to charge into the fight, with only the General's orders to keep him back. He was forced to wait.
When his orders came, Ogloth was shocked, he was to march off to the flank instead of into the city. He was being denied the glory of battle and he was burning to take action. Suddenly, a horn blew, but not of Goblin nor Gondor, it was the horn of the Rohirrim. Then he saw them, a countless force of horsemen charging towards him and his Goblins, and so Ogloth did the natural thing, he charged.
He believed that his Goblins desire for blood could carry them to victory, but the old legends of the Rohirrim didn't do them justice. As the Rohirrim charged into the Goblins, the slaughter began, but Ogloth's Goblins were the ones being slaughtered, and there was nothing he could do. Ogloth realized that he was never supposed to win, he was meant to be a sacrifice. He moved to attack in his rage, but instead he received a lance straight to his chest. Ogloth looked up to spit a curse on the horsemen who stabbed him, only to see a rider that wore the armor of a Gondorian captain, which only confused him. Ogloth passed out from a loss of blood as a meaningless sacrifice to delay the horsemen.
Ogloth's goblins fled upon seeing him die, and his second in command, a goblin from Gundabad named Gildac, swore that he would return for blood over the fallen. As the short story of Ogloth The Cheiftain ended, the story of Gildac the Subjugator began.

"Not hungry my lord?" the servant girl asked in her raspy Ruhnnic accent as she came to take away the Governor's dinner. Daven had not noticed her enter the room. "No," he half shouted in surprise startling the girl in return nearly causing her to drop the food tray. Her olive green eyes gave Daven a worried look before she scurried out of the room slamming the door of the apartment behind her. He really ought to have apologised, he thought to himself, the local Easterlings on the Isle of Nebur had not caused trouble for the Dalian trade outpost despite their two peoples being enemies in the War of the Ring. It was only right that they should treat them with courtesy he had told his garrison . But he had not really been himself lately. It was that damn letter.
The letter had arrived yesterday. Nothing unusual in that. Many letters and tales arrived to Bowman's Cove bearing news before traveling North beyond the Sea of Rhun on the trade ships bound for Esgaroth. The news was never usually good mind you, but not usually bad either. Weird would be more apt. Tales of pyromancers, Wyverns and a horse named Glitterhoof being crowned God-Emperor of some Easterling tribe. And that was just last months repertoire of stories too fantastical to be true. When bad news did arrive, Gondor would deal with it for they were the great power in this Fourth Age of Arda. The Easterling continued to fight even after the defeat of the Dark Lord but King Elessar and King Eomer defeated the last Easterling Loke-Khan 5 years ago and now his grandson, the three year old Maleg, ruled in Mistrand with a Gondorian Lord as his regent. Nothing, it seemed to Daven, could stop Gondor. It was why this letter troubled him so much. He opened the small box on his desk and took out a small piece of parchment. A large Goblin army invading Eriador? A warning for both Dale and Erebor to watch their own borders for a defeated enemy? It sounded impossible; even after the fourteenth reading. But the letter bore the Regent's seal. It was true. A chill went down his spine. What if the goblins were not the only ones biding their time? He turned to the door of his apartment. "No," he murmured to himself, "it could not possibly come to that".

The Aftermath: Ayagi was cut down by a Rohirrim soldier, his army shattered and lieutenants dead with him. Yet in spite of the decisive victory, neither Gondor nor Rohan thought the enemy defeated. It was obvious now that only a complete annihilation of the orc menace would end the threat. Word was quickly sent to every commander in the region and even Kings Elessar and Eomer [sorry couldn't do the accent mark]. The armies of Rohan and Gondor, still full of veterans from the War of the Ring, mobilize once more.
However, assembling the armies needed, especially for a campaign so far away, takes months of effort, and the goblins know that their kind faces extinction if they fail, so Ayagi's death only galvanizes them. This isn't about raids or glory anymore, but survival. The goblin clans meet to choose a new leader among them to fight the encroaching human armies with a tournament of strength and cunning. The victor and new commander of the Goblin Horde is Galkrog Horse-Ripper, a fearsome Warg rider who fought in Saruman's armies in the War of the Ring, before taking command of the nearby Goblin clan after the White Wizard's defeat. Eager to cross blades with the Rohirrim and their Gondor allies once more, but knowing direct battles will only end in disaster, he devises a scheme to sap the Humans' strength in brutal ambushes in the forests and ravines of the Misty Mountains.
Meanwhile, Captain Adan is now the liason between the Rohirrim commander Enadrid and the nearest Gondorian garrison captain Fenramir. He tells the two commanders all he knows of the Goblin forces and their strategies. In a week's time they receive their orders: they are to scout the foothills of the mountains and keep the Goblins on the defensive while the main army prepares to deliver the deathblow.
Will Galkrog be able to fend off the humans and keep them from getting a foothold in the mountains, or will Adan and his allies strike the first nail in the Goblin's coffin?

Bendrod was a cousin of Belegrond, from the battle of Minas Tirith.
From the war of Baranduin he had victored, but a Rohirrim he was.
During said battle, he was dismounted his horse, and his friends from the 12th Mark were slain or routed. But as he was captured among orcs, like a fish in an ocean, he drew his blade and orc blood was spilt. When he was rescued by Gondorians, his friends honored him, and as he walked up to the seat of Theoden of Rohan he became the ruler of westfold. But fast he stept down to Erikur, and moved into the house of Belegrond. He was then after a series of events wound up in the cells of this town.

    Odorf, the Captain of Gondor.
The last surviving descendant of Faramir, stealthy, hiding is name to avoid being remembered as the grandson of the mad sovereign. But maybe, when the time will come, he will be faced with a decision:
Hiding is identity and keep his pride, or remind the Gondorian to who they once swore their oaths...
He was in patrol of the village when the army came. When he heard that the townsfolk didn't believe that a goblin army was coming, he sent a message to Minas Thirit. The goblin army was way bigger than what attacked the village, he had saw them whilst riding on the misty mountains! Their real force was aiming for more ambitious goals...

The goblins victory in the ambush caused the goblins who have been hiding for the past 15 years to rally, it seemed that they sent all they had against a border village in gondor, the gondorians and rohirrim have sent their patrols to defend it and emerged victorious. But attacks like these have been happening all across the borders of Rohan and gondor with armies that are no smaller than the first. Those attacks seemed to be coordinated, and so they were. The goblins were trying to separate the alliance of men so that they could reach isengard, were the urukai have been hiding since their loss at the battle of helm's deep. They too have been waiting for an aprotunity to get their revenge on Rohan. Just like the goblins, they've been building armies set on one purpose, to kill every single man left. Now that the armies of men are separated, it would be easy for them to join forces with the goblins. But, the elves have been watching them, they realized what the goblins were after. So they sent a force to ambush the goblins as they March towards isengard, the remaining elves set out to warn the men who are spread too thin across their borders

In his childhood, he always heard stories about the war of the ring and he always wanted to fight for is nation just like his grandfather. So he enlisted to the and quickly rose in the ranks of the gondorian army.
He soon became a commander and fought against the Easterlings in the east but he was never in a large scale battle. After the war of the east, his army was sent to the border village next to the misty mountains to reinforce the patrol of the misty mountains doe he fell ill on the day of the patrol and he stayed at the village. That night he heard a very loud thunderstorm but it wast and ordinary thunderstorm it more sounded like drums then he heard a knock on his door it was the men that came back from the patrol. They said that there was a huge army of goblins coming there way. He sent out messengers the next day and waited for them to come with reinforcements. Some few Rohan soldiers come but no one else came so he ordered everyone that can use a sword to defend the town he planned to hold as much as they can he believed that the reinforcements will arrive. The battle was chaotic street fights were everywhere and he could hear his man screaming for help it looked like all hope was lost then he heard the horn of the Rohirrim cavalry they were saved. He played a very crucial role in the battle and after the battle, he promised his man revenge, and revenge they will have

It was not until ten years afterward that he was told go aid Gondor and he saw that the General was in fact Ayagi. The two met each other on the battlefield and engaged in an epic fight.

The news of defeat had not yet reached the snow orcs nor did the goblins choose to tell tell the snow orcs (gundabad). So as all they had heard of was a great geat goblin army the snow orcs began amassing slowly at first. The orcs forgotten by the world had not forgotten nor were released from a savage bloodlust. Though they were not quick at all to trust a goblin much less troll to lead them. Some who were tired of living off of lost travelers and animals went on to join. Among them was the old bastard Nokrag. Infamous among his people for his cunning and often sadistic tendencies to his own and others. Though he was the smartest among those who joined the massive goblin army and as a result often took up leader positions, often at the detriment to his own and others(Maybe the next battle we can see a few units of gundabad amd then a fully fledged army in a couple of battles) ( Nokrag could be the leader if you choose to do this idea)

I think the defendants would not have stood a chance if the Goblins used the walls to defend against the cavalry. Were they not allowed to do this? Also why didnt the Goblins bring artillery? Upon having the village scouts confirm the soilders stories of a large Orc host marching upon on them, Gwaur, Captain and Mayor of the village, ordered the release of the soilders and immediately set about preparing the village defences. Although being slow to trust, Gwaur was not slow to take action, sending out riders to sneak past the Orc army to the closest villages and even to a nearby Rohirhim fort.
Having fought valiantly and being injured in the defence of Minis Tirith, Gwaur was no stranger to battle. However he had carried shame from not being able to take part in the battle of the black gate. This shame was amplified upon the news of the approaching Orc army as Gwaur knew he may have sealed his people's fate for acting too late to evacuate.
After arming every able bodied person, Gwaur rode through the village in his armour and cloak with his hand picked escort, making a show of inspecting the walls and catapults whilst inspiring the lines of villagers and soilders. When the horns of the Orcs rang out from all around the town, Gwaur knew that the only change for his village's survival was to buy more time for any potential reinforcements. And just like the The Knights of Dol Amroth he had seen charge from the walls of Minis Tirith, Gwaur ordered the gates to be opened and charged into the orcs with his guard.
Although Gwaur died that day, all who bore witness remembered and thanked him in their prayers for his bravery.
    Gwaur died without shame.

He and his men were in the village under invitation, as the gondorian villagers had started a tradition of inviting men of rohan to a feast once a year to help foster friendship between their peoples. Unfortunately for the attacking goblins, their assault happened to coincide with this feast. Hearing of the approaching army, he informed the commander of the gondorian forces of the location of several scouting forces, and sent him with his fastest horse and personal signature to summon help, while he and his men aided in the defence.

They also ask for the land as compensation for all their soldiers who died to help Gondor.
But Gondor is reclutant to give them the lands where their colonists have settled and refuse.
The Rohirrim decide to take the lands by force and war breaks out between the two allies.
