I’m super in my feels tonight because your orange phone case that said “I will never be able to thank the universe enough for allowing me to exist at the same time as you” hit so hard that I teared up just having that realization of how much of a blessing it is that we get to live on this planet at the same time as the people we love the most. Wow. And for those who are no longer with us, how special it was that our lives overlapped so that we could know the amazing people that they were. Even expanding that quote beyond family and friends to think about your favorite creators and just how grateful so many of us are to them for being a light to us & helping us in more ways than they will ever know. Tips for beginner contact insertion, don’t look down, like you were, into a mirror. Go over to the wall mirror and look straight ahead as you place the lens on your eye. You can look to the side of that irks you. But bending forward will cause your upper lashes to get in the way until you get really used to it. Also, make sure your hands are very clean. Don’t touch ANYTHING when you have pets. Pet fur / hair under a lens is so uncomfortable. Contacts have come a long way since I first wore them in the mid 90s. You’ll get so quick at them you won’t think about it. ♥️
