listening to your message on generosity, once gave to a church member that said they were having a hard time financially. They had a party with my money, cut to the soul, then found out others had given to them as well & the donated funds were Not spent on their bills.- this is a sacrifice & burned me from giving, I want to know where the money is going, Is that wrong?
The church the body of Christ is not commanded nor required to tithe. Not one verse in the New Testament saids so. Paul made a collection for the poor saints in Jerusalem who were getting ready to go through the 7yr tribulation. 2Corinthians 8:8; 2Corinthians 9:7 is very clear. The nation of Israel 🇮🇱 under the law were commanded, required, & it was a necessity for the to tithe. Plus they were required to give 3 tithes in Duet.
