I have a great tip for your beauty sponge...I wet mine before I sit down & wring it out well. Then I take a wet wash cloth & wrap my sponge in it. I keep it in a glass dish on my vanity. Keeps my sponge damp the whole time while I’m doing my face! It’s been a great tip!
Keep doing straight up make up tutorials. I'm so tired of all those gimmicky videos that are on all the beauty channels. Do glad you're going back to the basics!

People on the internet blow things up. It’s not a big deal she was using her morphe brushes. She didn’t say anything about them it’s not like she plotted subliminally to use them. She loves her brushes that’s her tool!! Grabbed it without thinking. That is all. People need to stop being so crazy about her using Morphe stuff like she loves morphe, morphe helped her career. I believe jaclyn means well and is a genuine people person who just wants to make everyone happy. She is also human and having followers means hate and it can affect your mental. You can easily lose yourself when you have fame, because if constant pressures and affect it takes on you especially if your a genuine one like jaclyn. people stop using CZcams drama as a void for your own lives, and appreciate the ART AND TALENT. There’s a few videos I would love to see! Glam Disney Villain looks like your Cruela De Vil video. A “decade” or era makeup look like 80s glam or 70s bohemian. You doing someone’s makeup (maybe your mom or a friend) to show makeup on different face and eye shapes. You trying a makeup style or makeup techniques you don’t typically do. Anything that’s a tutorial! You are a very descriptive teacher!

Jaclyn, I'm getting married in June! I've always done my own makeup but I dont know what products are the best to use for longevity, seal proof etc. Can you do bridal makeup week? Something like Mon- fall wedding, tues- winter wedding, wednes- summer, thurs- boho/ethereal, friday- classic/highly recommended products? Something like that. You are my go to for tutorials! I completely agree but I think if you want drug store tutorials, maybe look for other youtubers who do use drugstore makeup. I only say that because youtubers who religiously use drugstore makeup, you know they love the products because they use it all the time. But someone who uses more high end makeup that occasionally throw out drugstore or affordable makeup tutorials don’t necessarily use the drug store makeup on a day to day basis. So when they do those kinds of videos it feels like they only do it because followers are requesting it. Not because they absolutely love the products. So I feel like their opinion isn’t 100% true when it comes to the drugstore or affordable makeup. You know what I mean? I hope I make sense 😂

In japan they have these face covers that they give you at department stores before you try on clothes so you don’t get the clothes dirty.

I truly can't believe she deleted this video for negative comments. I had been a fan of her for a really long time but for some reason I hadn't been watching her videos in a while. I love how honest, unapologetic , sweet and goofy she is. God bless her, and I think it's so easy to concentrate on the bad of every single CZcamsr, but just so you know, that says more of the person than of you. For whoever is monitoring these comments, tell Jaclyn she rocks for re-posting this! I watched it the first time and think it's just a damn great tutorial, which is our girl's strength. Everyone that got all butthurt about the brushes and setting spray needs to just get over it. This was such a straight up tutorial and I felt like we really got to see "pure Jaclyn." Should we watch CZcamsrs with a skeptical eye and call them on their shit? Absolutely. But this video? Right here? This is Jaclyn trying to get back to her roots and give us what we've asked for. What happened? I barely watch her anymore but I thought this was a great tutorial.
People gave her crap for using morphe brushes, sponge, and setting spray even though (I think) in the first upload she said she wouldn't be using Morphe. HOWEVER, I don't think she needed to take it down in the first place because, if she has a partnership with a brand and she truly believes in the brand, heck yeah she should talk about it. It would be a different story if their products were crap but they aren't. I feel bad for Jaclyn because she went through a rough CZcams patch but you can definitely tell that she's trying to get back to the lively and innovative videos she used to do. We love you jaclyn!! Hey Jaclyn! You might or might not see this but I just felt like writing a heartfelt letter after seeing your update on snap . You are not alone on the therapy topic. I have been following you since you started on CZcams, and you’ve helped me during dark times.I’m sharing this because whenever I see people trying to get by day by day, I want them to know they aren’t alone. I was sexually assaulted two years ago and I was forced to go to therapy because I became suicidal. I was scaring my mom and I was scaring myself. I was diagnosed with moderate to severe depression and PTSD. Ever since, I go to therapy three times a month... and as it progresses I go less and less. When I was going through my dark time, I felt like I lost my femininity, so I would turn on your videos and watch how you did make up. I would copy and by the end I felt like I still had a piece of my woman had left. Thank you,I’m just going to say, you’ve been going through a lot. You have a lot of pressure with people and publicity . Do you like you have to do to make yourself feel better. Nobody can tell you what that is. Some days you may feel like you don’t feel like socializing and that’s OK. Some days you might want to curl up in a ball and that’s OK. You do what you have to do to make yourself feel good. I wish she would. Because honestly even if we can’t buy or do everything from it we could all find products and tips from that video to formulate our own skincare routine. Besides, skincare is WORTH investing in and I would much rather buy a $200 facial scrub than a $200 face primer any day of the week. I would just have to save up for it 😂

Really love your videos jacklyn....your tutorials are amazing...really when i 1st got into makeup..i watched all vids..and you inspired me so much...and you taught me everything i needed to know about makeup..bc my mom never really taught me all about tht bc she wasnt much into tht.. soo thanks so much for tht..i know there have been alot going on in your life right now and youve been through some tough things lately but just know i really think youve handled everything w so much dignity and i know its hard to not argue w ppl tht think they know more about your life than you but youve done great sticking to your guns and not bringing yourself down to other's levels...so just keep your head up and keep doing you...hope your feeling well i know you said you had some health issues..so feel better...keep bein you..and .and remember to just kill ppl w kindness..you have such a great attitude so just dont let these life changes change you...and i think its so cool how uve handled everything as kind and graceful as poss.
