Thats when you realize the purge might actually be a good idea
One time I was trying to enjoy a chew in the theater and some guy kept looking at me.
You son of a...
It was Piz lol
Aww….that second experience just pissed me off to the point where I would have gotten up and gotten the manager and had him/her come in and listen to what was going on and as long as he/she heard it I would have had them have the grandma and her grandson who was absolutely petrified out of the theater with no refund and also ban them from the theater as that is absolutely ridiculous and emotionally abusive for that kid.
That mother and grandmother are a disgrace! ( and they say cats and dogs should be spayed and neutered)
My 2:
1. I was taken to see the first Monsters Inc. movie on opening day. The theater was packed. Not a single seat available. Not even down in the front. Determined to still see it, we had to sit on the steps of the movie theater for the entire duration of the film, occasionally moving to let people pass by or go back up to their seats.
2. Halfway through “Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events, the reel/projector broke and created this awfully disturbing sequence on the screen. Picture black spiderwebs against a pulsing white background. Constantly changing places on the screen. People were shocked and confused. Some said it was a part of the movie. This went on for about 5 minutes before the lights came on and we were told to leave and either be refunded or catch a different movie.
If someone is causing a distraction in my theater, I have no issue with taking action or even grabbing a staff member to handle it. If I'm paying almost $20 a ticket, I'm not letting some neanderthals ruin my experience.
I hear ya. I've left the theater to complain to staff or management about disruptions, but I've not had the best of luck with that, which makes me not even bother. The last couple of times I've complained to staff at my local theater, they've done nothing. Not even a warning.
“Not your dumb ass.....”
🤣🤣🤣
I get anxiety when I'm on the way to the theater because I'm dreading what kind of assclownery I'm going to encounter. Even early bird showtimes have trouble makers. Also people who discuss a movies ending near the line of people waiting to get in pisses me off. Tony Stark's fate was ruined for me this way.
How on earth did the Cinema staff allow an 8 year old boy into an R rated horror movie? Obviously the grandmother and mother were both unfit to be any kind of parents but I'm shocked the staff allowed this.
I'm glad we've got a strict rating system here in the U.K for cinemas. If you're not 15 or 18 and you don't have valid identification to prove this if you look under age then you're not getting in. This is how it should be imo.
I feel the same way about going to the theater now a days.
That story about that little kid crushed me man. That's a year jerking story. That poor kid! It's so sad to know there are people out there that raise kids in such ignorant and stringy ways. Like she couldn't have thought this films rated R (I think) he doesn't need to view this really! Heck they may have refunded her even. That makes me sad man.
I chew tobacco and that guy was very disrespectful and an ass. I’m sorry you had to go through that.
11:00 I’m actually going to a screening of Christmas Vacation tonight and I really hope I don’t encounter anyone in front of me who tries to deliver the punchlines before Chevy Chase does or anyone who tries to ruin the experience for me.
I was at the movies one time and a teenager was being rude throwing popcorn at stuff at me and kicking my chair
When seeing Halloween 6 back in 1995, the theater was fully packed, and people would not stop yelling at the screen, hopping over seats. When the love making scene ended someone yelled out "That bitch ain't got no titties!", and when Michael threw Kara onto table someone stood up on the seat yelling "He was swinging that bitch like Albert Bell!". Yeah, that crowd was slightly interactive.
This is awesome! Thank you for your honestly. I have anxiety going into movie theaters. last time I tried to go I went to see " Halloween 2018". I walked in, waited in line then just walked out. I couldn't do it. I bought the blu-ray the first day it came out and thoroughly enjoyed it on my tv.
I feel your bleeding pain! Be Positive!
People have no courtesy and just have no manners usually. Let alone those places are filthy and expensive. I haven't been to a movie in years.
My friend was on the phone, I got security on his ass!!
I've thankfully never had a any bad experiences beyond some occasional chatter - but I ain't putting up with nothing so I'd get the usher as soon as I become aware of an annoying movier goer.
However my friend has not been so lucky. He was watching Creed II and had 3 guys sitting behind him who were at first just talking and laughing, then they got out their phones and were playing music out loud and finally the breaking point for my friend was when they started having a farting competition, to which he stood up and punched one of the them in the face. Unfortunately for him the three jumped him and he got his nose broken. Part of me says he's my hero for doing that, even when totally outnumbered.
Love the Halloween 4 shirt that's my favorite Halloween film ever where did you get that at
It's a Fright-Rags shirt.
@@pizowell cool
thats terrible about the kid!!!!! and pretty disgusting about tobacco guy. this is why they need to bring the drive in back
i got into a fist fight in the hallway of the theater after some jerk kept kicking my seat and i asked him nicely to stop but he kept on and long story short we decided to leave the theater and handle it in the hallway. i was fired up and ready and let off a few shots when his gf ran up and started hitting me so i was trying to defend myself from her and him and it ended shortly after security came to stop it. got my money back and kicked out. SMH.
People=Shit.
What on God's green Earth would possess that mother and grandmother to make a kid possibly enjoy a horror film he had quite clearly indicated no interest in? That's horrible. If I were a parent, I would never make my child(ren) see films like that unless he/she/they are/were clearly ready for 'em.
Yep- cinema is dying and you just highlighted why.
I remember seeing The first hostel movie in 2005 opening night and heard 3 or 4 couples arguing about how violent the content of the movie was and in all instances the females wanted to leave and in one case the guy was yelling at the girl to come back and he left to get her and brought her back in the theater only for her to walk out again 10 minutes later. This arguing went on for about 40 minutes.
Sounds like a case of on screen violence creating real life violence.
@@pizowell maybe we should ask quentin tarantino if on-screen violence breeds real violence and see what he says. ahahahaha
Saw just mercy and a bunch a kids sat in front row and kept switching seats, talking, moving around and making noise during the whole movie. My sister was pissed!!
I’m pretty sure the first guy got kicked out
I never experienced anything like that, I feel bad for you Pizowell! The prick with the tobacco sounds disgusting!
I went to one theatre and this guy sitting in front of me was frying bacon on a propane powered hot plate. Then using the bacon grease to lather up his popcorn. The hot grease would sometimes pop and splatter on me sitting behind him. But the whole theatre smelled like bacon so it was a good trade off.
If he'd shared some of the bacon with you, then that would have been an awesome movie-going experience!
hahahaha the woman delivering the punch lines was hilarious! I went to see kung fu panda when the president was delivering a speech on national TV and an old lady at the back was retelling the broadcast to her grandson (I guess she was listening to it on the radio). I felt in the thirties when people would go to to the theater to watch the newsreels XD
Such terrible people and really bad parenting for that poor kid more importantly. My wife and friends had a slight fight with another couple for getting annoyed at us for talking when there was nothing important going on during the movie. We all words with them.
Yes, I've been in a few of those movies myself.
I also now pretty much go to the movie by myself one matinee with two ipa beers and a bottle of water and lucky there's one or two people in the whole theater
I sort of had the same experience when I saw Scream 4 back in 2011
Wow you have had some movie theater experience Pizo. I have never had those theater experience. Once a kid started crying while I went to see a comedy movie with my cousin and sister. Some women yelled get your kid out of here the kid & mother left the theater.
The guy spitting Crewing tobacco I would of told him to get out of here or called a User that shit has never happen were I live. Even tho now I got to the theatres once in a while now
Between people and bedbugs I'm more than fine with my projector.
I went to the movies last night for the first time in years. I had to pick a seat before ticket girl would give me my ticket. I never encountered that before. I saw Gretel & Hansel btw. I enjoyed it. When I said Hansel and Gretel she said "excuse me?" but when I said G and H she understood...
I also had some terrible moviegoing experiences, that's why I only go to matinees.
One bad experience I had in the movie theater was i was watching the program a football movie from the early 90s anyway there was a pretty small sparse group so there were two couples in front of me and the row ahead of them to left was a group of three guys about 20 mins into the movie they start arguing between the two groups by what I gather one of the group of the three guys must have dated one of the girls from the two couples so it escalates to screaming at each other then the one guy jumps over the row of seats and just starts swinging on the other guy like a wildman the guy fell back towards me spilt my drink and popcorn so when I told the manager the guy that started the fight ended up being the managers cousin so they never called the cops and he was very rude to me about it just ruined it for so I also had a bad taste in my mouth for going to the movie theater after that
My wife and I went to see us at a 3 Saturday matinee with those stupid pick your seat . We tried to pick seats in a corner in the back of the room whatever it was for the first 20 minutes of the movie everyone kept coming in when the whole theaters empty and says you're in my seat you're in my seat I can't stand that assigned seating nonsense first come first serve I will not go back again
I saw Cats and in the row 3 in front of me some girl was getting eaten out by the guy she was with. I actually thought it was a women blowing some guy the whole movie but was very surprised when the lights came on and it was the other way around. Other than that the usual thing to happen here on the border is very much in a horrible stereotypical way people will scream and shout very much like that scene in Scream 2 during the movie. It makes it impossible to see any horror film unless its a flop and the theater is empty. I also tend to only see movies now in Theaters during the afternoon in the workweek since most people are not going to the movies then. Sucks that audiences in America can't do anything without ruining it.
Sounds like you have a touch of anxiety Piz, my wife has it, she can't go nowhere with crowds. The guy with the tobacco was just nasty. They should have threw him out.
Exactly. Even before Piz said it, I thought:"Dude could've just brought a cup. Spit into it silently, not left a mess for the poor staff to clean, and disposed of the cup properly on his way out in a trash can. No fuss, no muss."
On the opening Friday of the black Christmas remake I went for $5 at 12:30 p.m. no one was in there but me and my two beers and water this way I don't feel guilty spending the money the movie
Worst i’ve had was someone constantly kicking my seat and when i saw Ghostbusters there was a homeless man dancing in front and running up and down the isles till he was finally escorted out.
H E X U S why he was dancing ?
@@generalhotpizza480 Well if he was homeless then he was probably either drunk or just desperate for attention and thrills..
Maybe he was dancing because the flowers were still standing 🤷🏻♂️
its pretty bad when i guy siting be side me falls a sleep during the movie i was so mad lol
This was'nt my worst movie going experience this was my dad's so back in 1982 he saw "Halloween 3 season of the witch" and he said it was so horrible he left in the opening scene.
The Possession Of Hannah Grace, because it was awful. Special screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with my Mom about two years ago, and these two grown men reciting every line, in the movie.
"Sharing is caring"... unless we're talking about blankets laden with smallpox. Then it's really not thoughtful or considerate at all. #JusticeforMcNugget #Orcgate
Can't move my eyes away from that mask bookcase as always... Worst was: an older guy kicking my seat behind me to whole movie, every 10 seconds or so... He may have been had some strange disorder or something, but he should have never come to the theater if so..
Midweek squad ✌️
I had some idiot teenagers and other annoying people who wouldn't shut up during the previews before It and I had to bite my tongue and grit my teeth because I was close to yelling and cussing them out.
Why didn’t you help and take action?
Easier said than done.
When alien vs. predator came out me and my wife got a babysitter for the evening and went to see it and go out to eat to enjoy ourselves. Well we're sitting through the film and a grown man sitting beside me bye himself talking allowed was speaking to himself I can't remember all the nonsense babbling but I do remember towards the end at the scene where predator marks her face he was actually say F, her take her bra off and bed with her you know you want to predator. I was creeped out with my wife thinking he's got something wrong or it's drugs anyways that was weird to me lmk what u think of that one bud. 👍
This situation turned your stomach, and now you want to share it so it can hopefully turn our stomachs too?Ooh,thank you thank you. Here, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,is a man that truly cares about his audience.
Bruh, chiiiiiiiilllllllll. It's a joke.
pizowell I was joking also
@@pathatfield2543 Ok, I wasn't sure. 😆
pizowell It’s all good.I probably worded things badly anyway, but I was trying to be over the top so that you realized I was joking.
Hey Pizowell, Wow! you have serious Movie Theater Issues! Life is short & not perfect, Just move to another seat? Complain, to the Movie Theater Manager?
Vincent Smith that’s what I said. People who sit and do nothing are just as bad as the people who cause the problems in my opinion.
@@lucastout3272 Be Proactive & Thanks!
I've complained to management of my local ma and pa theater (where both of these incidents occurred) in the past and they've done nothing. Not even a warning. Needless to say, I very seldom visit that theater any more.
@@pizowell That's unbelievable & unheard-of!
pizowell I hear that, I’m not talking shit to you or anything. I’m just talking man, just so there’s no misunderstanding.
I was watching some madea movie and was getting blown by my asian viet girlfriend then this old man walked in the theater and saw us. I think i ruined his movie going experience
