- This was a short instructional video on a basic single line-pull using a Warn Zeon 10 cable winch on my 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Snoopy. I am by no means an expert, but I know enough to be safe while doing a recovery. This was staged as practice to teach a couple friends the basics of winching. Special thanks to Chris for shooting this film, and keeping a safe distance. I also want to thank Travis, from 5HJ (5 Hills Jeeps), for being there and giving sound advice while shooting this video. Comments always welcome and I hope to see you out on the trails. Subscribe if you dare 🤙🏼
When is that video coming up of you going over all your Renegade mods???.... just bought my new 2018 Trailhawk in Glacier and really want to know what all you’ve done sir.

Earned my sub, very informative and straight forward
Thanks!! I appreciate it 🤘🏼
Great video! What is the benefit to having the recovery vehicle in neutral rather than drive or reverse
Great question!! Always have the recovery vehicle in neutral to avoid damaging the transmission. Utilize your bakes for stabilization 🤙🏼
Well done. Great video.
Me and my wife just got trailhawks what mods do you recommend
Nice!!! Well depends on what you want to do with them…… soft roading on dirt roads? Or hard core ledge dropping skid plate scraping bliss?? Or a pavement princess that you can double park?? 😜
What is the name of the plastic part on the handle where the hook is located?
Marcell Gomes Gomes It’s called an winch isolator
Thanks for sharing awesome video
Glad you like it!!!
Hey snoopy, I enjoy you videos. What kind of mpg do you get? I get 17-18 city 22 on highway. All stock at 35 psi for all tires. I don't know.. I feel like my Toyota highlander has better mpg than this 😅
Jay Yoon I average 22 mpg city/hwy. I run 35 psi except when I Off Road (17 psi) on my BFG KO2’s
SnoopyJeep hmm.. Okay that sounds pretty good. I might put it into 38 psi cold and see if it gets better. I'll comment after driving a couple more days 👍👍
**update, as I put to 38 psi on 215 65 16 stock tire and also a K&N filter gave me 22 on city. I didn't drive any differently. I must say the mpg improved. I'm not sure which was the major factor that gave me a good result for mpg, rather it's the tire pressure or the air filter.. but I'm very happy about the result
Yooo brotha I am building my Renegade rig right now but where did u get that naw not another renegade shirt
My homey John Garcia makes these. Are you apart of JRL on Instagram or Facebook? (Jeep Renegade Life) If not hit us up 🤙🏼
Not yet but I'll def join in the next day or so
Great job:)
David this was a basic recovery to show proper recovery techniques
SnoopyJeep got it thanks
SnoopyJeep Im thinking of getting the trail hawk with 30,000 miles on it, i heard it had reliability issues. Is this true?
David I I would say for the most part some do but mostly the renegade is pretty reliable. I’ve had a few issues but nothing that can’t be fixed by warranty so not really worried about it
