Me fascinó descubrir el documental en este verano del 2022. Me he transportado a los veranos cuando en casa de mis padres veíamos Verano Azul.

Tata is Miguel's great grandmother's sister. She never married and took care of her mother until she passed away. Tata was in her 40's when her mother passed away, and she continued taking care of the younger ones from the family. This included Miguel Angel who was 10 when Tata, 59 years, began taking care of him while his parents were working. Miguel began his film career at 12 years old and he says that both of them developed a deep and extraordinary bond. When he began making good money, he began paying Tata's rent in a small apartment close to the studios he was working on. Once Tata became too old, he continued taking care of her. The documentary he filmed began around 10 years ago and it was an important goal of his, mostly because he wanted to share how difficult it is to become old, but at the same time what a difference it makes to carry on with dignity, joy, and faith. Tata is 97 or 98 right now and both of them have won several important awards with this film.
