This just shows that MK4 was one of the weaker aspects of the original timeline... Kai and Fujin were one-time deal characters that have a lot of potential, yet they're never seen again. Kai was given Raiden's staff, but he's given a spiked club instead. Fujin was set to take Raiden's place as Protector of Earthrealm. So where the hell was Fujin this whole time when the Deadly Alliance formed, Onaga came back and Raiden turned into a knight templar?! I'm glad that MK11 gave Fujin his dignity.
and Cassie was texting Kai in one of her intros (funny enough, this happens when facing Fujin and more specifically, when he mentions Bo'rai'cho [No idea if I wrote his name correctly])

Thats yy they killed off everyone and rebooted the series.....it was startin to go downhill plot wise
