.308 takes down an Axis Deer!

The West Texas Hunting Guys head down to South Texas for a whitetail deer and axis deer hunt! After an unfruitful sit at a feeder, they head out on a spot-and-stock hunt. After a few close encounters, and glassing a field with an axis deer herd, two axis bucks sneak in behind them and pop up in the wrong place at the wrong time! The .308 rifle did it's job at close range to top off an awesome hunt on some amazing animals in the beautiful Texas Hill Country!

These are all free range! In the early 1900s they were imported, but quickly escaped and started to spread all over.
