Yes and another mistake that KL Rahul made was he couldn't rotate the strike.
KL is an intelligent player which is evident in his ability to deduce DRS! His shot selection and his ability to play range of shots is as versatile as some of the all time greats of the game.
Hope he gets back to his consistent era and makes it back to the T20 team
The biggest issue with kl Rahul is his fitness and over thinking while he is batting.

It was under Ash's leadership that KL had his best IPL years! Used to be a different beast in 2018-19. Now just a wannabe anchor. Go back to your best days in T20s KL! Loved those days.
According to me, 2016 IPL season was the best for KL! That emergence of a class player for RCB! RCB had the best team in 2016 and also had opportunity to win the IPL season! After that it was all Klassy from the Rolls Royce Rahul!
One of the only shows of 1 hour which I watched entirely, both of them made so much sense, Ashwin was just asking questions and letting Rahul speak in so much depth, thats what a host should do, Ashwin's questions list were so good, and good to see a bit of a quiet cricket show for a change.
RCB definitely need KL back. He's the one that can take them forward. He's got the fan following and the home grown talent. Very classy player.
