In the new House of X storyline, Jonathan Hickman has re-organized the Omega Classification. Each OLM has only 1 Omega Level Ability/Power even when they exhibit multiple powers. Examples are Jean Grey is an Omega Telepath while Exodus is an Omega Telekinetic even though they both exhibit both abilities

I think the list only includes living mutants, santa died when his sled was shot down by the soviets when it showed up on their missile detectors. Poor fella was off guard thinking he was on his way to get milk and cookies and never even saw the missile coming at him.

Psylocke is one of my favorite X-Men. I think her abilities are really cool. I like that she can create a sword out of psionic energy and also uses a katana. I feel like she’s overlooked compared to some of the other X-Men.
She's my favorite too. She about to become the new Captain Britain and lead Excalibur!!:)

Phoenix force is not a mutant thus she is not considered mutant anymore with the Phoenix. All omega and beyond omega level mutants are just far away from Phoenix's level, they are all ants to Phoenix honestly.
Jean once resurrected herself only using telepathic power (at that time she lost phoenix force)
This! However, she is only an Omega leve mutant in the area of Telepathy. Basically, she is the strongest telepath there is, overpowering the likes of Doctor X, Emma Frost or Psyloke. Her Telekenesis is still impressive, but not nearly as strong as some others on this list. And Omega means "strongest with their respective power" after all. So ye, she is THE Omega Telepath.
Without the Phoenix that is. The Phoenix boosts all her abilities, but most notably her Telekenesis. Giving her the ability to control matter on molecular levels and the likes. However, including a multiversal force on this list is kind of out of place in my oppinion. The Phoenix stands above all other mutants, there is no denying it. Even reality warping doesn't affect it too much because it's multiversal, indestructable and basically a core part of every universe.
Jean Grey held the ENTIRE Marvel Universe in the palm of her hands and extracted the memories of herself from Scoot so that he can finally move on. If that's not an omega or beyond omega level ability then I guess toad from the old X-Men Evolution t.v. show is omega level then.

In 1963 Jean grey AKA marvel girl Jean was noted to be a powerful empath and that when the Phoenix encountered her the Phoenix was drawn to her due to the emence powerful emotions jean could feel. If memory serves me correctly her first powers were telekinetic telepathy and empathy she was sopossed to be marvels most powerful telekinetic. Due to her empathetic powers she is able to submit or control the Phoenix force at its core. Very few people talk about this aspect of jean greys power. She truly can control anyones emotions.
Apparently, in order to be an Omega Level to the 10th degree, you need to have Telepathy, Telekinesis, Regenerative healing, Psychic manipulation, manipulate energy and matter, and energy projectors.
Jackson Caesar not really, It's not the ability, It's the raw power one possess, limitless potential. The mutant's ability reaches a level that can not be surpassed.
The ability can be anything, tecnokinesis, empathy, strength, whatever.

I'm seeing alot of mutants that have telekinetiv powers. I think more of a variety of different powers should be implemented. I'm kind of disappointed that Storm wasn't even mentioned in this video. The power to control weather across ALL planets? She can create a Category 5 Hurricane on just will. Also she was a host of the Phoenix Force and literally hosted Eternity. I think a new video is needed. Please make sure you add Storm.

Telekinesis and Telepathy usually goes hand in hand in Xmen universe. Most of the prominent characters are Telepaths, so many of them automatically have telekinetic access too.
Yeah a new video's definitely need. And it needs to be accurate too. Like Psylocke has never been confirmed to be an Omega level in canon, she needn't be here.
telekinesis/telepathy isn't impressive anymore in fiction to be honest. there's sm heroes with it

okay but the actual powers of telekinesis is never shown. some of them could probably reconstruct matter on the level of quarks, but they are never shown doing this, at least to my knowledge. some could even do this on a universal or multiverse scale. the ability to make every atomic structure disintegrate just like that.
Man... They don't show Elixir that much anymore. They threw him in the back burner just because he is the answer to most if not all complicated plot that's not time travel related.

Jean is far and away my favourite. it’s deeply personal (my mum was a redhead called Jean...) but i love the fact that she is so immensely powerful but is a gentle, loving and humble soul. no other host for the phoenix has ever been so basically good. her goodness is also her greatest weakness. i think a lot of people are too kind and self effacing for their own good and that’s why jean is popular. she may not be the most charismatic comics character but i think i’m not alone in identifying with her. (obviously without the powers...)
your list is a good one: i love the different personalities the telepaths have, and the way their powers express themselves as a result: the clever and manipulative xavier, the kind and loving jean, the cunning emma, the scary david haller... great stuff...
Cool video but many of these are no longer Omega Level. Jean Grey is Omega Level and does not need the phoenix to be on this list.

Matthew Malloy, iceman, hope summers, and even the other versions of cable and cable himself should be on here. I think they just went with their favorite. Malloy was considered the strongest mutant level cerebral ever came across at one time. All of those should at least be on there before psylocke. Scarlet witch also. She changed the world with three words

Noticed that too. A disgusting lack of imagination on the part of Marvel. I love their mutant comics, but... telepaths in their universes have got way too much power. And they're almost all mutants, which begs the question: "Okay... where is the creativity??" As much as I love the 'mutant' community, and their fundamental mirror of real-world society's troubles with skin color and gender identity, IMO they have gotten way out of hand. And it's because the 'mutant gene' is so not clearly defined that Marvel can pull this kind of crap, with alarming regularity, IMO.
Classifying Omega level mutants should be dicey at best. Most of them can use their abilities in a wide varieties of ways. An example: An omega level mutant with energy control powers would also naturally have both telepathy (by reading energy patterns in people's brains) and telekinesis (well by manipulating energy).
Of course, Most of the Omega Level Mutants are Omega because of these abilities. Just imagine being able to move things with your mind, read someone else's thoughts and even control other's minds. HUGE
it's not even impressive at this point in fiction because it's repetitive

Legion is potentially the most powerful Omega without a doubt.
He could quite literally manifest every single Omega ability of the other mutants listed on Hickman's Omega list to an even higher degree due to the nature of his power.

vulcan is my favorite omega lv mutant. It's been shown he can absorb all forms of energy, so in my mind, it wouldn't be too far fetched to say he could absorb the power of cosmic and go beyond omega

As much as I love X-Men and mutants...this open up my eyes a little. I knew telepaths, telekinetic, and empathy can be some pretty powerful people. But majority of the Omega level mutats are mostly part of the mind psych powers. And then if you combine mind psych powers with energy manipulation, it becomes a whole new ball game. I guess we always knew mind powers are win in a fight verse brute force.
The irony is that telepathy is not a power with Omega potential.
By definition, Omega-level mutants are mutants who can physically affect the world around them on a macroscopic and microscopic scale. Telepathy doesn't alter the physical world at all, only the mind.

Adult Franklin travel back in time to meet his younger version and takes his powers and then absorbs it. Young Franklin has power power than adult Franklin.
Then he goes back to fight the Mad Celestials after resurrecting Galactus. Franklin on his own = Galactus. He literally possesses the powers of 2 Galactus.

Omega level mutants are mutants who's genetic mutation are at their physical extremes and cannot get better. For example ice man is an omega level mutant because he can make ice and is made of ice (physically cannot get better). While Charles exavior is not because his abilities are not at their extremes.

@@davidshirley4696 yes that's the point while using cerbro he can scale to omega level mutants, but on his own he has nothing to other people that can use telekinesis let alone most people who have telekinesis are also telepaths and can make phsycic weapons or more. X just isn't at the extreme

Nate Grey/X-Man has always been massively mishandled and misrepresented but his 90's run to this day is still one of my favourites. Big fan and although he went through a weird messiah complex recently I look forward to his return one day given the proper treatment and handling he deserves

With this video and any subsequent ones, are we going to differentiate between omega level and beyond omega level? I'm not as well read in the comics as I would like to be, but are beyond omega level mutants considered as omega level as well?

Who has in fact been shown to have power on par with a decent amount of people on this list. Going as far to fight some of the people on this list. Such as Nate when he was fused with legion!!!! Showing she was the only X-men powerful enough to harm him allowing the X-men’s psychics to separate the two. She fought 2 of the most powerful omega mutants fused!!!
Not only that she has been able to replicate some of these omega level abilities others on your list have shown. For instance turning into pure energy. Control a vast amount of different energies. Over coming even Magic both those that have tampered with forces under her control (weather) and spells such as the Bands of Cyttorak.
Not to mention she’s is in fact a actual Goddess!!!! (confirmed by the writers and brought about multiple times)

Jean Grey originally became Phoenix because she was a Mutant exposed to Cosmic Rays, in the same way The Fantastic Four, (and the villainous U-Foes,) were normal humans who received their powers when they were exposed to Cosmic Rays. (They even made a point of drawing the cosmic rays the same for X-men as they had in Fantastic Four.)(I was reading the Phoenix story line as it was published.) I much prefer the orignal explanation to the "alien menace" ret-cons.

Kelly, you guys forgot Charles Xavier himself, with the ability to create a full physical psionic form which we've seen in both the Dark Xavier story and also when he absorbed Magneto's consciousness (as Legion does) and he became Onslaught. He negated Cain's Juggernaut powers trapping Juggernaut in the bands of Cyttorak. Defeated the Avengers and FF and everything else thrown at him.

She was during Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force run. Dark Angel Saga. Though she wasn't on the omega list in House Of X so that may no longer be the case. But she's about to become the new Captain Britain so that could also be why.
I dont think she has, no. I know her telekinesis was amped up to be the equal of Jean Grey's, but her telepathy was never on par.
Lazy writing made Psylocke Omega level. I grew up reading about her in her original state and prefer her that way.

martinumber1 he was stated tp be beyond omega 20+ years ago when he first come to the main universe. He is also an omega level because beyond omega level is the highest ranked of the omega level.
Well he is/was because he used a Celestial life seed to amplify his powers. But his powers actually finally killed him. Maybe he'll be back in what Hickman is doing currently.

First time I've heard of elixir but I had a concept for a similar power set but when the character uses it things tend to go all cronenbergian.

The stuff about jean grey is backwards. The plot retcon of the Phoenix being a manifestation of Jeans insanity(along with the goblin queen) is fairly recent from ultimate X-men. The Phoenix has almost always been seen as a separate entity from Jean
