Apollo/Lester is probably one of my favorite Riordanverse characters just because one: his character arc is fucking amazing. And two: he makes references to the most random shit and it’s hilarious. I wish there was more stuff in the fandom about him and this video makes me happy.
SO TRUE!! I loved his character development,, and he’s just a wonderful character overall. The way he learns to care for others instead of putting himself first made my heart warm,, especially after he goes from being annoyed by Meg to seeing her as an annoying little sister instead. I just love him so much but not many people actually bother to read TOA so there’s so little content of him :(
I would love to make content about toa except I’m terrible at making videos 😭

@@what_is_star it’s not that easy. Videos take a lot of work and time, I have school and homework and club meetings and when i get free time I prefer to relax rather than putting more work on myself. I’ve tried to make videos before and just ended up stressing myself out because of how many screenshots I had to take.

@@sp0okish Well, Hades already got his character development, so he can be excluded from the list too. I think Persephone also had her character development, but we didn't get to see how she got it. ALSO, don't forget about Hera!! We got to see the human side of her in ToN
Also Athena, is she was written like the actual mithology
never read the book yet but I feel like Lester or Apollo would probably be upset of what had happened to him and idk if he would truly think being in a mortal life is difficult task he needs to do and face.
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY READ THE BOOKS!! Lester/Apollo was really salty about being a mortal at first but he gets character development throughout the series

I usually have this issue where no matter how much the side character is favored by the fandom, I like the mc. Similarly, the main book series is usually my favorite, and the others come after it. NO OTHER book series has been able to match the og Percy jackson except Trials of apollo, it even surpasses it at times. I absolutely love Apollo so much in this book series!!
That’s honestly so true!! I think it’s because we’re given a new perspective of things especially since Apollo isnt a demigod (being an olympian god and all) and is a human while in exile. His character development throughout the books is so satisfying and interesting to see, especially since we can kind of compare how he was before (in The titans curse and a little bit in blood of olympus) to what we read in Trials of Apollo!! :D
