During the summer of 1989, Frankie Bones found himself spinning records before a crowd of 25.000 in a field just outside of London, the first american Dj to be touched by the rave scene during the UK´s Summer of Love. Quickly becoming a regular Dj on the UK cicuit, as well as touring throughout Europe, Frankie was determined to break this new found culture to his unsuspecting american audience.
The rave scene eventually did hit America, but first on the West Coast, where Frankie was part of the early 1990 East L.A. Warehouse Break Ins. " I only was booked in L.A. because of my success in the UK" Frankie recalls "Nobody in NY ever thought that we could have a scene, but LA was proof that the East Coast was not far behind". The New York rave scene blossomed one year later, and by early 1992 Frankie´s Stormraves became the largest and most underground techno parties of their kind. Now legendary, Stormraves had 5.000 in attendance by late 1992. Through the New York City based Sonic Groove Rec. retail shop (a partnership between Frankie, Adam X and Heather Heart) Bones has been on a six-year quest supplying techno, trance and underground sounds to
Dj´s across the country. This mix is true Frankie Bones style, his diverse sound which represents his dancefloor in 1996.
    cheers!

Besides this being an incredibly tight mix by Bones, the production level of the producers that wrote these tracks were on a different level. These songs told stories, the mix was the journey. Even with all of the technological advances in production equipment, these producers were the masters of the analog hardware they used.
Most of these track were written between 92 and 96 almost 30 years ago… that alone is absolute insanity! Think about a computer from 30 years ago and imagine writing music on one…
These guys were light years ahead of the music.
This was the golden years of Techno and boy do I miss it!

this is the cd that made me get two 1200's and a shitty ass unmark mixer. I was stuck in my bedroom for about 3 years so i could master the mix before i would even spin in front of people. This was back in 1996 and i have not stop spinning since. THIS IS FOR is my fucking JAMMMMMM!!!!!

Starting going to raves in late 92 at "EDGE" in Ft.Lauderdale FL. so i had known the music for a few YRS. But then i heard this CD in 96 and instantly fell in fu¿kN love with D.J. Frankie Bones. That yr i saw him live in i believe maybe Westin FL. but don't remember then in 98 at W.M.C. Miami where i brought this C.D.down for him to sign and which i still have thank you.. Him and i talked for a bit and dude was cool as F. Such great memories the 90s were that kinda life will never be replicated......p.s. he signed the c.d.,,,to SHAWN peace"sign",,Frankie Bones.🖤

Can't believe he opened with the mighty intro of a Dutch mix disk called House Party 5 (intro created by TCM) and the incredible Microwave Prince is just insane!!! Happy days and thanks for uploading!
