why is everyone arguing about scootering on here? I scooter and ive just started aggressive skating. They can't be compared because they are entirely different and take entirely different skill sets. Why must everyone hate on every sport they don't do.
I'm going to the xgames this weekend, I'm kinda sad this is not an event anymore. I remember watching these kids win like 8 years ago. They're almost perfect.

People who make an argument and comparing about inline,skateboard, BMX or else means they are huge fan for that sport but don't have a chance to feel it
to be honest... i don't skate or rolleblade but everytime i'm arround skateparks i see the skateboard fucking arround trying to flip their board over some bar or w/e in some way... i fall asleep watching them... while the 'fruit booters' make fucking awsome high flying flipping in the middle of the air kind of tricks... i don't know about the technique or w/e just saying those guys just look way cooler then skateboarders lol.
I know this question being left unanswered for 6 years has tormented you everyday. Allow me to grant you some peace. It does not. You get that feeling when you're being accelerated rapidly. Sometimes a large roll-in ramp can feel like that a bit, but you're usually too focused on what's next to notice.
Same old shit talking like it was 1995. Only difference now is that the rollerblading pros have paid their dues. Most of the top pros that skate for companies like Rollerblade, Remz, and Razors have been skating for over 15 years.
How is blading gay ? Standing on a piece of wood with wheels on the bottom isn't ? Stop fuckin hating and just enjoy your own sport. We're athletes just like everyone else, and work just as hard.
I skateboard and I don't think inline skating or aggressive inline is gay at all. That shit takes determination, if you bail out of a trick you really bail! There's no running out of it! It takes effort just to learn how to skate in a straight line. Scootering, however, I find lame. Mostly because of kids at the park that just get in the way and snake. It's not hard to ride a scooter unlike a board or inline. It gives kids a sense of entitlement and they act inappropriately.
That may be the case in your mind, but say Nyjah Husyon, a skater, makes like 10x if not more than what Franky Morales makes. Look at these aggressive runs, versus skate runs from pros like bob burnquist, or PLG. They do a trick every single time they hit the coping, where these guys are constantly airing 180, and may do like 2-3 tricks the whole run. Truthfully, when done correctly, they can both be flashy.
