I think I like the Lihit Labs better because when making a quick grab of a pen during a lecture it is better for them to be lined up.
For my everyday carry I use a LihitLab Smart Fit Actact Compact Pen Case. It's small but that's why I got it. LihitLab's whole lineup is pretty great. Despite it's size, I fit a lot in there: 3 pens, 2 highlighters, a mechanical pencil, lead case, some paperclips, foam eraser, A7 notepad, 15cm ruler, and a roll of thin washi tape. Now that I work from home it doesn't get much use since I'm never on the go but hey at least it's cute :)
We love the Lihit Lab. It holds all the items my boys need for school as well as their high school provided calculators and protractors.

I’va had a Nomadic pen case since I lost my last one in high school. I’ve graduated college now and don’t go anywhere without it! It’s just well-compartmentalized, light, and cute!
I was debating on either of these pen cases, and more, just before I put my order in. I wanted something that could be organized, have lots of pouches, and carry a big handful of Pentel Touch Sign Brush pens, while also separating my Energel Pearl pens. It turns out I really like the book style AND a pouch combined-- have the most used pens organized at my finger tips and hold pens I don't mind digging through. Something like the Nomadic's PN-21 2-Story Pen Case is close to what I have for myself, because I like the book flap in the middle (but the zipper is busted and I need a new one). There is another case I can't remember on Jetpens, but the middle flap is removable with velcro so you can store more items below or take it out when you just need the most used items. The only bad thing with the pen loops is they can only fit certain sizes. My Pilot mechanical pencil FureFure Corone .3mm slides in nicely, but my Clena and eraser stick need an extra push and pull.
After a LONG time of debating and comparing, I decided on a lovely combination of roll up and pouch as a gift for a friend (nothing for me atm). It was a nice marriage of Traditional Japanese and a modern day case (Raymay Kulmare Pen Case - Black). I might pick up something else for myself in the future. The only hurdle I had when comparing manually was remembering what had what features and benefits even with the "compare to" feature. More videos like this on items with almost identical features would be nice please! It's easier to see products in use than just sitting pretty on a desk. Thank you for working so hard for us to make thoughtful purchases.
I have the Smart Fit small and I been enjoying it since I bought it. Coming from years of lugging my entire stationery collection around, The Smart Fit helps me organize what I truly need when I go out. Multipens help as well. XD
I really want a supply pouch that can hold 50 pens because... I have 50 pens I use everyday...
One that has a book format in one pocket
Another pocket is spacious
And one that can hold a lot of small things in multiple small mesh pockets
You know, I think they may have something like that? If you go to their website you can sort through the pencil cases by capacity and see if any of them work for you; it's how I found my favorite pencil case!

I have the small lihit lab pencil case which I find done but I started carrying around stabilo boss original highlighters which i struggle to fit more than 4 or 5 into the other pocket.
I've used it pretty much every day for a nearly two years and is s in great working condition but looks a little worn

As a student the Lihit Lab is more practical. Realistically, you don’t have time to switch between 30 pens during a lecture so the larger capacity of the Nomadic just isn’t necessary. I also like that the book compartment of the Lihit Lab makes it easy to grab exactly what you want.
If I was looking for a case for my art supplies I could see the Nomadic being superior though. It looks large enough to carry a couple small brushes, a small roll of tape, and maybe even a mini watercolour palette, along with pencils, pens, and some other colouring supplies.
